Prior Depretiation Field

Recommended Posts

Hi, it is used if you have an asset that has been depreciated a certain amount prior to a depreciation schedule being started for the asset in AssetManage.

For example, perhaps the asset is not newly purchased and was depreciated using a different method for a couple years. You can then enter the prior depreciation amount and then start depreciating the asset using the defined AssetManage depreciation inputs.

It is considered the total depreciation that has occurred on that asset as of the date specified.

The program takes that value and date and computes further depreciation based on that value.

Hi, we just put up a new build that should properly show fully depreciated assets using the Depreciation Report feature under the REPORTS menu.

Or do you need a report that shows ONLY fully depreciated assets?  We can do that and add it to the program in the near future.
