However in testing a disposal of an asset the calculation for value to write out of the asset ledgers appears to be wrong in that the accumulated depreciation value is far beyond the disposal date? Please see the example below. I have probably made a simple error but I can for the lfe of me see what. Can you help please? admin Posted February 9, 2016 Report Share Posted February 9, 2016 Hi, if you can email us a screen shot of the Depreciation section of the asset that causes this problem..we will take a look.
