  1. In the designer editor of StampManage I am attempting to add the Condition field on the lower area of the Description field in order to conserve space without adding additional rows to the report. See attached. The data in the description field & all the others uses one or two lines leaving several lines free below it. That space was created when I added the image field which pumped up all the fields with empty space. I believe this can be done by using "layers" and superimposing one field over the other, but I am having a heck of a time determining how these layers work. In a graphics app layers are easy because they are enumerated to the side and can be clicked on to get to whatever level the designer needs to make changes or add other data like text or an image. Summarily, I need to determine if this is viable or are other methods available for doing this. 2. How do you change the subcategory under a nation for a stamp with the wrong subcategory? I.e.-US stamp with a subcat of "General" when it should be "air mail".
  3. I've gone through the report guide for page numbering and can't seem to get a page number on each page of my report. I'm not terribly computer savvy, so I find the report designer a bit daunting. Does anyone have a simple way of adding a page number to each page? Thanks.
  4. Mr. Lynch, I wondered if you ever rec'd a reply on this query of yours. I, too, have this issue. Thank you.
  5. Can someone suggest a way to eliminate the stampmanage software from changing my view upon opening the program? The bottom portion of the screen where the stamp info and photo reside show up at the top with a few lines of the collection list appearing and I need to slide down those sections so more of the collection list appears. Thanks
  6. Thank you for your reply. I was wondering also about another category that is essential to value as well as description. In the "Add A Stamp" window another pull down menu could be for "Color" as it defines the quality of the stamp as well. I'm not interested in placing colors here, but rather a descriptive add-on: light or faded color; average color; superior color; etc. What do you think? Scott
  7. On some of the pull down menus like "format" in order to add a different type of stamp, you merely type in the name. I have tried this with the "Gum" pull down and the new term does not record itself for repeated use. Is there a way I can edit this to "add" a new term? Are the other menu pull downs of the Boolean nature which can't be edited? Thank you, Scott M
