admin Posted March 15, 2015 Report Share Posted March 15, 2015 === QUESTIONI just recently purchased – online – StampManage Canada 2014 and get an error message when trying to open it after installation.“The Microsoft Jet database engine cannot open the file C:Program Files (x86)\StampManage\StampData.mdb It is already opened exclusively by another user, or you need permission to view its data”What’s going on?I have a personal home computer, and I am the only user.=== ANSWERHi, regarding that error.. you cannot install the data file to a folder under the PROGRAM FILESPlease install it to a folder under MY DOCUMENTSYou can run the install program again to change the path.
