Using Wine on Linux Mint

I don't do Windows; I consider it to be a virus. Am I going to have to buy a Windows machine to run this software? It's the only thing I've found that will let me manage the collection of silver dollars I was given by my sick brother. I've tried to run it by using the Windows emulator (WINE), but I'm having troubles. It says something about network adapters. I hooked up the network cable as well as running WiFi. That didn't help. I don't know how to disable my modem. Is that what I have to do?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, that error sounds like it is coming from the 3rd party licensing system that is integrated into the software.  I don't think it is designed to work in a LINUX Windows emulator environment. Sorry about that.   Is there a LINUX command that would disable your modem?  We don't have much LINUX knowledge here, is this link any help:
