  1. Coin Manage doesn't have SP grades to show. Go to Tools, Preferences, Grades to Show -- there is only one SP65. I had this issue adding my NGC and PCGS coins. I just added the grade when I logged the coin in. It'll stick. But SP grades won't show up in the list.
  2. When I press Ctrl-N or the Add a New Coin button on the toolbar the dialog always opens to 1909 Lincoln Cent and I have to walk through the whole table even though I may be in the middle of the Roosevelt dimes or Kennedy half dollars or any other coins in the United States type (haven't tried other countries yet). I'm running a new download of the 2022 version on Windows 10, I've never seen this the older versions. Is this a new glitch? Paul
  3. B.V. = Bullion Value FDC = Fleur du Coin (a coin grade I believe)

There was only a copper-nickel proof issue that year from San Francisco. There was no clad uncirculated issue from the SF mint in 1976.
  5. When you click on "Add Coin(s)" or Ctrl-N then in the dialog box scroll up from United States to Other it should show Silver Rounds, Silver Bars, Gold Bars and World Bullion Coins. You can also add new varieties there.

is it possible your dialog box is doing? All the columns squished to the left, the MM column impossible to find? This is what mine does - the same issue of the software not adjusting to the screen resolution or monitor size...
  7. I seem to get the Checklist Report to direct to a Microsoft Excel format. Is there a trick to this process or is it not possible with this report?
  8. I have a similar issue with my setup, I have a 28" wide screen and have the maximum font size set to 26 which comes out small but readable. That is when I am working in Collections tab. When I switch to View By and try to look at the Sets table or Locations table the font is tiny, to the point of being unreadable. I know those tables are created on the fly with a query view, but I would hope the basic properties of the table would at least match the Collections table. looking forward to having a fix on this...
  9. I ran this scenario on my program and of course first had to add the new type in the Coin Database Editor (Statehood Quarters). Once I added the Denomination (25 Cents) and the Type Name (Statehood Quarters) then the other tabs appear - "Info" "Coins" "Images" etc. Under the Coins Tab I added the first issue - 1999 P Delaware. Now it still hasn't shown up in My Collection but when I go to Add Coin(s) and add my first 1999 Delaware quarter and click Apply then Okay the new type will show up in My Collection. This may be a drawn out description that begs the question Have you added any new coins of your own to the new type? It should show up as long as you've added the new issue/Coins to the Type Info dialog box - 1999 Delaware P through 2008 Hawaii P.
  10. When all else fails reboot. Or better yet try that first. The missing status bar has reappeared, no issue today. And oh yes, all coins seem to be present but at the time all parts of the status bar were missing. All is good today... thanks for the quick response... Paul
  11. I recently upgraded my laptop and with a new hard drive I had to reinstall everything including CoinManage. I downloaded the latest build and added my license number and all was well. I brought it up with my last copy of CoinDESC.mdb (I was able to rescue my files from my old hard drive) and all was going great until tonight when I noticed my status bar didn't have the count of coins of the type I brought up. I know if I have more then 1500 it will show >1500 but I got used to seeing that there. Did I not do something when I reinstalled my mdb file? Or was there something about this new upgrade? Would like to know... Thanks Paul
  12. Found one -- CoinManage Coin Software - Adding Coins from Countries not in the Database Search for this and you'll find a video on the topic
  13. Seems like a few years back there was a video about this, maybe search on youtube for CoinManage

In the Coin Database editor (in the Tools menu item) you can click on the Country then Denomination then Type (you might have to look for Bullion Coins) and after you click on Type you have a dialog box with several tabs. On the 2nd Tab Info there is a field for Composition. That should do it.
  15. I had the same issue with my coins, I have a unique and distinctive numbering system for new coins I add to my collection. I use the catalog number information "Number 1" field in the Additional Information tab of the "Add Coin(s)" dialog box. It then shows up in the table as Cat#1 which you can find in the Menu Tools Preferences Columns tab. You can add it and even move it up the the top so it shows as the first column in your table. I send the COINMANAGE ID field down to the bottom so it's off the page on my table, I don't even see it. You can also click on the top of the field so the table will sort on your Cat#1 column. NOTE-- Every time you update all the tables go back to the default with the COINMANAGE ID field on left side and the Cat#1 not there. You have to go back in the Preferences/Columns in the Tools menu and redo all your tables.

    Reports

I sort my collection by Sets that I created. Then if I want to report on one of the sets I, in the "View By" category, click on Sets to open the list, then right click on the Set that I want to report on. Then I have the choice of "Output Report Using..." with a list of already created reports, or "Output Report Using This Set..." which opens up the whole list of reports including ones that I created. I right click on everything in the whole program because often there's a whole sub-menu of choices available. It's one of the most useful tools in most Windows programs.
  17. There's a video that covers this. Look on the Support page, click on Videos, it's about 4 pages in -- "How to Add Coins from East Africa". I used the same one to add coins from British Palestine and British East Africa.
  18. I have not seen anything from CoinManage support about it.
  19. I have a similar problem as mentioned elsewhere, all my recent values, e.g. 2014 and newer US coins, are missing. The upgrade overwrote and took out any values I had previously entered such as for the 2017 enhanced uncirculated set. When I go to Update to the Latest 2018 Values I get the following message... "Item not found in this collection." When I change the values in the preferences dialog tab to 2017, then I reopen the program and it has changed back to 2018. This is something you talked about fixing 2 versions ago (2016). When will we hear something about fixing these issues?

    Grades

I did that search, found the wikipedia article on the Sheldon Coin Grading Scale... I didn't see anything about F-16 is that article.
  21. On another note, the last few updates -- I use custom fields in my tables, Cat #1, User-Defined #1, Set, and Location. I have manually added those columns to the tables on the display, My Collection, Showing Country, Showing Denomination, or Showing Type, through in the Preferences, Tools menu. Every time I update the software all my preferences for the columns are gone -- back to the default. So I have to start over again. And now as I check (I just ran the update program) I see that all my values for types are gone from the default 2017 table -- values I had added such as Mexican Silver, recent silver quarters or halfs.... Well this is frustrating!! I might as well restore my backup and skip the update. Save me about a day and a half of adding back in my custom features....
  22. I found this same error back in October of last year. I wanted to set the preference to PCGS values and found that it reverts back to the CM default. I wrote in and got a reply saying it would be looked into. Friendly reminder.... this needs to be fixed... Paul P.S. I'm using CoinManage Deluxe 2017.
  23. Is there a limit to the number of coins I may add to a collection? I noticed today the counter down in the bottom right corner of my home screen now says >1500 -- -- when I select "My Collection" in the left column. Until recently it would show me the total number of items, total amount paid, and total value. I recently added I recently added a large number of silver bullion items and Morgan Silver Dollars and now I see the counter has changed. Do I need to have multiple collections? thanks Paul
  24. Wow! Thanks for the unbelievably fast response....
