  1. P.S. Once again, I have not received any notification of any new update of CoinMange. Am I I the Blacklist?
  2. Where is it going to land and how my search to find. If it cannot be found in the database it must be added somehow Let's say if it is a Country Coin and it is not there, so you have to add it as new, etc Some are Silver, some are gold But, if not in db you have to make (and then try to find where put etc. Should I put in Bullion or in in the Country (that maybe not in the list How to place something questionable and find them to place appropriately? CM added a "Mint Product" etc but did not add it into a Search -- therefore why add the search field check field to search it? If you do not understand please ask me
  3. And then when you add the new coin you can add up to 4 images of what your exact coin looks like
  4. I'm thinking what you're looking for is: going to the Tools - CoinManage Database Editor, go to the the coin you're looking for, select on that coin, on the bottom right you see that coin's picture and under that it has a Browse button -- if you want that picture it shows to be a picture you have stored on your harddrive, etc.,browse for it and select it, if all is good, then click the OK button all the way to the left where the OK Close Remove New Type buttons are. Then go and add the coin to the database. That's the way I roll.
  5. Just keep in mind that although the USM strikes a coin in a Proof, Mint or Uncirculate "condition", they do not guarantee any strike to be what you want it to be. The graders determine what is what. As for a coin that is recent, well, that is dtermined what the market is at its time. So, therefore, it is too early for pricing, for many reasons. Coin Manage / Liberty Street, they update and provide info; they provide update info which is more or less a helpful guide. You can use it in and for many purposes that you decide to, but it is not a guarantee of what you expect it to be. Just use the information as a guide, solely. The coin collector market is both subjective and objective. As a collector . . .
  6. To MavMar -- Just keep in mind to always drill down until you find the coin. If you cannot find the coin you're looking for, you can either create it yourself or ask CM to create/add it. Basically, when you cannot find a coin you’re looking for, search in the CoinManage Coin Database. If it is not there it has to be added using the Coin Database Editor, which allows you to enter a coin – type variety, etc. But at that point it just enters it into the database and does not inventory it into a collection. So, once it is placed into the database, then you inventory it by using the “Add Coin to Collection” or “Add Coin(s)" function.
  7. To MavMar -- the reason that it does not show up is because, you created the coin to be in the database but you have not added the coin as a record in the database. So now you press the Add Coin button (the first icon that looks like a coin with a + sign), find the coin in the database you created, and fill it all the information and save; you'll notice the the CM record number.
  8. Thanks for the info, Paul. As I mentioned, this had happened some time ago on my old desktop computer. So I installed a second copy on my laptop computer. I had forgotten all about it when I rebuilt a new desktop computer and added CM. I'm thinking this was back either in 2018 or 2019. For right now, I do not need the use of a second computer. But I will attempt to add the laptop probably within a month or so. I will try and see if there becomes no issue adding a second copy and let you know what happens. Thanks for the help.
  9. Although there is a field to "Awaiting for delivery", you can only add a few differences but not any type of reminders, if that makes sense
  10. Here's another question, or example: One year I installed CoinManage on my main-use computer and I also installed it on may alternate computer. My alternate computer crashed and I was not able to uninstall it on that computer, and also my main computer is different also. The questions is: will I ever have the ability to again run CM on both my main and new alternate computers without having any erros that the program resides on a computer that has failed in the past but wasn't released? Contact me if you do not understand my question. Thanks.
  11. CM / Paul, Is there anyway you can place in the Help/About CoinManage screen what Version and Release Number that the customer is currently using, so we can determine what we're running? Something like CoinManage Deluxe 2023 V1, or CoinManage Deluxe 2023 V1.R1, etc, or something to identified what exact version and release/update etc.? So that we are talking exactly what it is we're talking about, instead af having to go through the process of re-loading any updates, releases, etc.? It may help confusions. Thanks.
  12. The thing I always fall into: USM puts out new coin releases throughtout the year but those coins have not yet been added to the CM database. I tend to want to add a coin I ordered and/or received immediately so I don't forget to enter it, but because it is not in the current database release I have to make a new record which will then cause creating a duplicate when CM enters it and makes a mess of the database. To resolve this, sometimes I have to enter the new coin as the previous year's coin and make a notation -- which I will forget -- that the record I temporarily created will have to be altered when it is finally added to the CM database update or release. I've tried many different ways and used many of the various fiels to remind me but it always fails somehow. I'm so confused -- ah-gain. But that's normal for me.
  13. Sorry. I can't answer what I am not sure of. It is best to place it as a new subject.
  14. rewalston: that advice is only my understanding and may not nr the advive/procedure of CM/LS. They may have other info / advice.
  15. Rewalston: Once you've created the coin record, next right-click on the record and select "Edit Variety Information" and enter the value for that particular property, and then click on OK at the bottom of the page. The value is now updated for that coin.
