I have a coin that has been graded PL-67 "Heavy Cameo". Is there a place within the records where I can state not just the grade (I know how to do that) but also the reason for the grade "Heavy Cameo"? Thanks Rusty

Variety vs sub-variety

Still being relatively new to using CoinManage, I'm a little confused with "terminology" for lack of a better word. What is the differences between a variety and a sub-variety. I can't find anything about it in the help file except "hide sub-varieties). I have the 2023 Britannia w/ King Charles III, I don't know if that would be a variety or sub-variety without knowing which one it would actually be. Thanks Rusty

Admin can you help This is driving me NUTS. I have 3 coins from Liberia. All 3 have the same year but a different reverse side. These coins are commemorating Princess Diana's death. To be exact 1st coin is "Lady Spencer", 2nd coin is "The People's Princess" and the 3rd coin is "The Final Journey". They are all $5 coins. I have been able to add Liberia and sup-type under 5 Dollars called Diana Series. I added the 3 coins as different varieties. Then I saved what I've typed in. But when I go to "add a coin" it is only showing me two of the three that I entered. I've done this a half dozen times with the same results. It's driving me bonkers.

I'm kind of befuddled here. I know how to add a country not currently in the database as well as adding new coins within that country. What I can't figure out, nor find any information is the grading area of the database (for the new coins for the new country). How do I populate that?

I seem to have run into an issue. My system drive crashed and I had to replace it. Now prior to this, when I originally installed CoinManage 2020 Deluxe, I moved all of the folders : images, coinimages, data, backup and reports, to a secondary drive and changed their locations within the preferences of the program. So, after the crash all I had to do was reinstall the program, change the locations to where I had them set at. And I restored my most recent backup (prior to the crash).
Now here is the issue. preferences has everything pointed to my secondary drive, but, every time I start the program it does a system import from the folder within My Documents. Why is it doing this and how do I stop it?

HI, it does an import every time you run? is it possible your data folder is set to the IMPORT folder?
