vu68
I have envelopes with event day covers (first flights, first bus post office, flights to antarctica, etc) or envelopes that are of collectible interest because of the location (e.g. Navy Ship cancellations), but they are not First Day CoversThe actual stamp on the envelope is not particularly relevant as in most cases any stamp could have been used.Is it practical to enter these into the program and if so, how would you recommend doing this. I would not expect to have values, as I would have to estimate those. One possibility would be to create an artificial stamp for each unique envelope, but this seems awkward. Any suggestions. admin
Using the Stamp Data Manage feature you could create a new category under the OTHER PHILATELIC ITEMS called Event Day Covers. Then click on the Stamps tab, and add individual entries for each category of Event Day Cover, you would need to place a unique value in the Scott Number field as that is a mandatory field.
