I now have a new computer (Windows 8.1) and want to move Home Manage here from Windows 7 machine. I have installed Home Manage on new computer. Now want to install data from my Home Manage backup. When I select Restore Backup, I get a message (see attached screen print), which suggests that I have already selected the file I want to restore - but this is not the case - because I can’t work out how to do so. Your help in resolving this dilemma would be appreciated. === ANSWER Hi, during the restore we first do a backup because the restore will overwrite your current data. If you just installed the software that is not important, but in some situations it is.... Just go ahead and agree to the backup, it will restore your data file after doing the backup.
