Asset Manage Ent Trial version - SQL Engine error 3197

Hi,

i tried to test Asset Manage Ent 10.6 Trial version but getting error Database Jet Engine stopped error 3197. This only occurs when i try to update one single record. It does not give me the error when i update multiple records.

Running on SQL 2008, installed on Win 7 64 bit. ODBC connection.

I've had the same issue... tried updating in the database directly and had same issue. I found 2 fields in the dbo.Assets table on the SQL database (in Design) that allow null values for bit type, and have no default value. Once I fixed that, I was able to update single records.

I am still having the same problem (Error 3197) with location tracking enabled when trying to update a location only. As such, I've defaulted to no location tracking until I get a reply from Tech Support, or figure out how to fix this issue myself. I don't have this issue when editing the location directly in the database, so it must be something related to the location tracking call in the application.
