tahoewoods
I am getting a dialog box error message, "Microsoft.Jet database cannot open the file...\Data\Assets.mdb.It is already opened by another user, or you need permission to view the data". The only thing that has changed is I recently converted to Windows 10. What is causing the problem?
admin
I am getting a dialog box error message, "Microsoft.Jet database cannot open the file...\Data\Assets.mdb.It is already opened by another user, or you need permission to view the data". The only thing that has changed is I recently converted to Windows 10. What is causing the problem? Hi I realize is for another product, but the principles are the same, the ASSETS.MDB file cannot be in a folder that is marked as read only. This includes any folder under the PROGRAM FILES folder. Change all references in the video from STAMPDATA.MDB to ASSETS.MDB and StampManage to HomeManage.we will make a video for HomeManage regarding this issue in the near future. tahoewoods
My Assets.mdb file is not under the PROGRAM FILES folder path. It is already under the DOCUMENTS folder path. However, I did note that all folders in the path containing the Assets.mdb fie are marked as "read only". tahoewoods
tahoewoods
I have explored further on line and have found that "Windows 10 Read Only Problem" is a common problem. So... the question is: why is HomeManage the only software application that has suffered by going to Windows 10? I have tried to change the read-only setting on the "Data" folder; but, it is always re-set to read-only
