psgeorge
I'm a new user of StampManage (2016). I've been entering my collection and ran across a problem in the United Nations category. Everything is there including Geneva, Vienna, Kosovo but there is not a category for United Nations - West New Guinea. I would like to add this as a new category, but the scott numbering 1a - 19a already exists under United Nations. So how should I enter these stamps? Thanks in advance for your help. I'm sure this is a relatively easy solution, there is so much to learn. By the way, I love this program so far. Thanks again! admin
admin
Hi, is UN - West New Guinea listed in the SCOTT catalogues? If so, we will need to add them as a new country. each country has its own SCOTT number so it is not a good idea to add these issues to another UN issuing entity as you have seen. psgeorge
UN - West New Guinea is listed in the Scott catalog as a seperate country the same as UN - Geneva, UN - Vienna or UN - Kosovo.
hoddy
This problem is widespread. Last year I asked that the option of adding new categories by users be denied having just corrupted Malaysia States in a big way. It remains an unsorted issue in the 2016 version.
