Guest CM User Posted April 25, 2020 Report Share Posted April 25, 2020 I have the same problem. From what I can gather, it has to do with the EXIM settings on your photo from your camera. The EXIM settings in your camera are set to show your pics horizontally. When you take a pic in the camera it is set to format it as horizontal even though you may see it as portrait or vertical, when it loads into the CM program the setting in the EXIM part of the data for the picture, loads it horizontally into the CM program. My question, which is your question is, how to fix this? It does not help if you rotate the pic in your computer before loading it into the CM program, it will still load as landscape (horizontally). Guest CM User Posted April 25, 2020 Report Share Posted April 25, 2020 Since I wanted to get this fixed quickly and didn't want to wait a year for an admin to respond, I searched out the answer myself. Download this free program and you can fix the issue, but if you want it permanently, I think you have to pay for it. But it does work! I just switched my pics quickly to the proper orientation and uploaded them into CM.
