Software details: Images and Data Bases

I have had repeated  trouble with the software and have had to call tech service for them to fix it which they have on two occasions.   I can manipulate the program somewhat and prefer to do this myself rather than have them do it remotely:

1) I would like to know where the images are stored in the files as it has now been two times where I get the database showing the actual entries to my collections but without the images yet I have identified that these images exist in the software  but are probably not in the right folder to be read by the data base, and

2) I have been able to transfer the software to my new computer with larger hard drive successfully this time but not the actual data base that I have saved.  I need to know how to import the actual stampdata file into the new program so that it reads from it.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.   Thanks.
