Guest Colin Pattrick
William Are you talking about "stampID" because "stampID" is a field that Access uses. When you compact your database. compact is a default setting. the "stampID" numbers are reassigned,

maineiac13
Not sure what you mean by "Cat #". If you are looking at your stamp inventory in general, you can click on any column heading to have the inventory sorted in order by that column. Click again on the same column and it will reverse the order. If neither this suggestion nor Colin's post clear up your question, can you post an image of what you are seeing and that may make your question clearer? TomTouch
Are you talking about the Scott # field being out of order? Example 1,1a,10,100,2,3 versus 1,1a,2,3,10,100 Because, the Scott # is an alphanumeric field versus a numeric field.
TomTouch
Guest william sihler Do you understand why Cat# is not in correct sequence?
