rewalston
Still being relatively new to using CoinManage, I'm a little confused with "terminology" for lack of a better word. What is the differences between a variety and a sub-variety. I can't find anything about it in the help file except "hide sub-varieties). I have the 2023 Britannia w/ King Charles III, I don't know if that would be a variety or sub-variety without knowing which one it would actually be. Thanks Rusty admin
admin
Sub variety refers to variety of a coin that is usually collected by more advanced collectors. For example, the MORGAN dollars have hundreds of VAM sub varieties. Presidential Dollars has a confusing amount of: Position A/B sub varieties. We allow the user to hide all these varieties to make it less confusing to use the software. We had some complaints from users who did not like having to scroll through hundreds of varieties in a list.
