Guest DougM Posted September 19 Report Share Posted September 19 First, I’ve been using CoinManage since late 2023 trying to catalogue my Father-in-Laws coin collection – and have been thoroughly impressed! Q1: The license I bought included free upgrades (annual renewal is coming up in Dec of 2024) - when I went to the Help / Check for updates – it prompted me for credit card – so I stopped there. Tried it a second time, and it now says I have the most current version, however when I do “Help / About CoinManage: its still shows I’m on CoinManage Delux 2023 - did I do something incorrectly, or is this normal behavior? Q2: The license includes up to 3 computers I believe, Is it possible to install on a second computer and after restoring a backup on the 2nd computer turm off the ability to update/delete on that computer? There is not currently a way to prohibit updates or deletes from within the software. there is a way to prohibit users from installing new software on a windows pc, but it requires some advanced security settings. ask any Windows security question like this at: https://claude.ai/new it usually does a good job of explaining the steps required.
