  2. Microsoft Jet database engine stopped the process (3197) - while trying to re-save changes after edit

    Just started entering assets into AssetManage 2010 for Windows. AssetManage software installed as server/client. AssetManage DB is on Windows 2008 R2 with MS SQL 2008 R2.

    I can add new items no problem, but I can't edit item afterwards. I get error msg:

    "The Microsoft Jet database engine stopped the process because you and another user are attempting to change the same data at the same time. (3197)"

    I tried restarting my PC and I restarted the MS SQL service.

    Anyone encounter this?
