  1. I have created two new categories (FDC - Air Mail and FDC - General Issues) in an attempt to keep those covers separate from one another. So far I have attempted to add C62, C66, C68 and C76 to the FDC - Air Mail category and the only thing I have accomplished is removing the pictures/images from C62, C66 and C68 (haven't tried with C76 yet) from my database. No matter what I do when I click on the FDC - Air Mail drop down in throws the stamps into the Air Mail category with an incorrect Scott#.

I know no one replies to these posts (including the admin guy) and it's a shame. The knowledge that's out there on pcs, stamps, stamp programs, etc. and no one wants to step up to the plate with an idea how to resolve any issues.

I have several posts hanging and got no response except the one I responded to on my own post. Check it out (Download Manager for SM 2013 Doesn't Work!).

    Anyway have a great year!!!!

  2. I have added two new categories (FDC - Air Mail and FDC - General Issues) and I'm trying to add Scott #'s: C62, C66, C68 and C76 to the FDC - Air Mail category and so far I've managed to to 'eliminate' the pictures of the stamps for C62, C66 and C68. Every time I try to add the FDC it adds the item to 'Air Mail' instead of FDC - Air Mail. I cannot figure out what is going on. I know no one every responds to these queries and it's a shame, all that knowledge out there and no one wants to step up to the plate, including the admin guy.

  3. How can I tell if I have the 'current version' of the StampManage version 2013 software?

It would really help if the newly released version had a 'number' that would indicate a create date. If the 'number' was higher than the one you previously downloaded/installed you could tell if your running the correct release or not. It would seem that the names for the releases are meaningless.

Right now I don't know if I'm current or not. And certainly the 'About StampManage' doesn't help.

My thoughts, what do others think.

  4. I have discovered a work around procedure for installing any version of StampManage. After I download the update/new release/etc, but before I install the it, I uninstall the product (using Revo Uninstaller) and then do a scan on my registry (using Eusing Free Registry Cleaner) to insure there are no left-over entries in the registry. I then install the new release. On my machine the download takes about 1 hour and the install takes about 2 hours (I don't know why it takes that long.). Probably because of the number of files??

I hope this will help some StampManage users. It took me awhile to come up with this procedure.
