Simply type it in the format field.  All of the fields in the add a stamp window can be edited

After you enter new varieties in Stamp Data Manager, click close on the left side of the Stamp Data Manager screen.  This will append the new Stamp Data Manager entries to the default value table.  Then open the StampManage Catalog screen on the left side of the screen and open the Value table should be named something like 2020.  Find the scott numbers that you want and add your values

When adding stamps, in the format field, simply type in your format (Block of 8 etc)

I had the same problem.  Go to preferences and uncheck "Enable Webcam Feature."  This solved it for me.

It happens whether you search a specific field or all fields.  I tried searching for Frederick Douglass in USA and it returned all records with either Frederick or Douglass included.  This happened what ever way I searched (specific field or All text fields)  I tried with and without Quotes.  The strange thing is that some searches return a value, and some don't

After I made the changes in my last post the problem never came back

In the Stamp Data Manager, could you have a popup to confirm a deletion when you hit the Remove button?

Open the country where you want the stamp stored, then open the country where it is presently stored, then drag the new stamp the to the correct counrty and category
