  1. I click on "Check for updates..." in my help menu and it goes right through and tells me I have the most recent Coin Manage Deluxe 2017. So if I understand this correctly, there is no new update yet, you were just working with someone trying to install a past update.
  2. "Posted 12 hours ago ยท Report post "Hi, we have fixed that today, will be putting up another CoinManage USA update later tonight that will include the fix and a few more database additions" How do we find out about this? Is there a new update to download? Is it safe? Let us know please
  3. Here's how I've done it, highlight "My Collection" on the left, then right click and choose "Output Report Using...". Then choose "Coins by Collection" report, then in the dialog box that come up about the print options choose and then in the drop-down list that you can direct to -- choose Microsoft Excel Format. Then you'll get an Excel file that you can tweak and format. In the reports menu you can also choose "Create a Collection Report" and then just direct the print options to Microsoft Excel Format. I do this frequently to have a workbook for my collection. Paul
  4. I've had to do this several times with Mexican silver. You have to add the type to the "pre-defined database"... Go in the Tools menu, select "CoinManage Coin Database Editor". It's on page 65 of the manual under the "How Do I" section. Once you add the type then you can add the individual coin into your collection. Paul
  5. I've upgraded to Coin Manage Deluxe 2017 and when I try to change the default values for new coins, in preferences, "automatically insert values from:" it keeps going back to the default "2017" when I change it to "PCGS September 2016". As soon as I close the application and reopen it the default is "2017". How do I get it to stay with "PCGS September 2016"? Is this something that can be fixed in an update version? I hope so.... thanks Paul
  6. I got the new upgrade to Deluxe 2017 and am still having this problem. How can I get a report to sort on different fields?
  7. So is this " Updated September 2. 2016 with the latest 2016 USA coins and sets " version an update for version 2015 or a new version that I have to purchase? I have the same concern as Sprinks41, if I install the CoinMng2017Deluxe.exe trial do I have to purchase a new license? Isn't there any break for upgrading from 2015?
  8. I notice on the main page of the web site it says "Updated September 2. 2016 with the latest 2016 USA coins and sets" But when I check for updates in my Coin Manage 2015 it says I have the latest updates. Please can you explain this -- is the latest update, September 2, 2016, available?
  9. It's been over a month since we've heard from "admin"... knock knock knock, is anybody home?
  10. Since I ran the update distributed Friday evening (7/1/16) the data fields with drop-down menus in the Add Coin(s) window no longer fill in when I press the first couple letters of a previous entry. Such as, in the Additional Information Tab when I go into the "Bought From" field (which is a drop-down) and type the letter "e" it would automatically offer to fill in with ebay which was already in my list. Now it does not... Hopefully this might be a feature you can add back in soon in another update, I sure depend on it when I'm entering new coins. Paul
  11. I'm having a similar issue, I use the field "Cat#1" for a catalog # of my own. I can't seem to get a report to sort on that field, I find the field "Coin.CatalogNumber1" and add it to the sort order in the table properties but I get an error "To few parameters. Expected 1." when I try to preview the report. This happens on a report that I create or when I try to modify an existing report. Is there a way to change this?
  12. I've just created a couple of queries but I can not find any way to edit or modify them. Am I just missing it? Is there a way to edit an existing query? Thanks Paul
  13. I have many of my coins labeled by Sets, when I go to look at them in the View By, Sets feature, I can't seem to add a data field (Cat#1) to the table. I do it in the Preferences in Tools but the field isn't there when I go back to View By, Sets. Plus, I don't understand the Categories in the Columns Tab of the CoinManage setup. There is very little in the documentation regarding changing the date fields and nothing that I can find about using Sets. Is there available for this? Thanks in advance Paul-W
  14. In a follow-up, I just started using Coin Manage Deluxe 2015
  15. How do I access the "Free Internet Coud Storage"? I can't seem to find anything about it other than it is suppose to be available. Paul-W
