Hi, we have fixed that today, will be putting up another CoinManage USA update later tonight that will include the fix and a few more database additions.

I click on "Check for updates..." in my help menu and it goes right through and tells me I have the most recent Coin Manage Deluxe 2017. So if  I understand this correctly, there is no new update yet, you were just working with someone trying to install a past update.

  2. Here's how I've done it, highlight "My Collection" on the left, then right click and choose "Output Report Using...". Then choose "Coins by Collection" report, then in the dialog box that come up about the print options choose and then in the drop-down list that you can direct to -- choose Microsoft Excel Format. Then you'll get an Excel file that you can tweak and format. In the reports menu you can also choose "Create a Collection Report" and then just direct the print options to Microsoft Excel Format. I do this frequently to have a workbook for my collection.

  3. I've upgraded to Coin Manage Deluxe 2017 and when I try to change the default values for new coins, in preferences, "automatically insert values from:" it keeps going back to the default "2017" when I change it to "PCGS September 2016". As soon as I close the application and reopen it the default is "2017". How do I get it to stay with "PCGS September 2016"? Is this something that can be fixed in an update version? I hope so....

    thanks

  4. Since I ran the update distributed Friday evening (7/1/16) the data fields with drop-down menus in the Add Coin(s) window no longer fill in when I press the first couple letters of a previous entry. Such as, in the Additional Information Tab when I go into the "Bought From" field (which is a drop-down) and type the letter "e" it would automatically offer to fill in with ebay which was already in my list. Now it does not... Hopefully this might be a feature you can add back in soon in another update, I sure depend on it when I'm entering new coins.

  5. I'm having a similar issue, I use the field "Cat#1" for a catalog # of my own. I can't seem to get a report to sort on that field, I find the field "Coin.CatalogNumber1" and add it to the sort order in the table properties but I get an error "To few parameters. Expected 1." when I try to preview the report. This happens on a report that I create or when I try to modify an existing report. Is there a way to change this?

  6. I have many of my coins labeled by Sets, when I go to look at them in the View By, Sets feature, I can't seem to add a data field (Cat#1) to the table. I do it in the Preferences in Tools but the field isn't there when I go back to View By, Sets. Plus, I don't understand the Categories in the Columns Tab of the CoinManage setup. There is very little in the documentation regarding changing the date fields  and nothing that I can find about using Sets. Is there available for this?

    Thanks in advance
