there is an easy approach to handle this. column settings are store in file 'headers.wcd' in the Stamp Manager folder. when you have columns set as you desire, close stamp maager, make a copy of the header file with name, fpr example, as 'header - backup.wcd' when an update comes thru that messes up your columns, use the backup file to restore the 'header.wcd' file used by stamp manager.
