Missing coin database

Hello.

I've been a user for many years. Just recently I discovered that I could not open my collection. Further review suggested that my database of coins had disappeared. I have searched my computer and have found several CONDENSE , failed to open any of them to check the content.  Have I lost my collection?  I don't have a current backup, but I did maintain  an excel log on all purchases. Please advise on how I can recover my database.  I have over 1500 coins.

Hi, I'm not sure if we have already fixed this by remote control,  in situations like this we almost always find the older COINDESC.MDB in another folder on the user's hard drive.\

Try opening your Windows explorer, click on your C: drive, then type COINDESC.MDB into the find box at the upper right.

If you find an older COINDESC.MDB file that looks like it could be your old data file:

RUN CoinManage

Select the OPEN COINMANAGE FILE... command and choose the data file you think may be your old file.\

If you have problems, we can remote to your machine and do it from here.
