  1. You can edit that using the Properties editor. Select the item you want to change and then click Properties on the toolbar or Alt+Enter on the keyboard. There is an Additional Information tab on the Stamp Properties screen.
  2. I have noticed funky sorting on the list also! If I sort "My Collection" by Stamp Type, it will group all of the same types together and list them alphabetically by type. But within a group of same type stamps, they are listed in seemingly random order. This makes it really difficult to find items. FYI, I am using StampManage USA 2018.
  3. Yep, I've had lots of "stuck" images also.
  4. I am assuming the set of PB are the same 859-893 stamps. All that you need to do is to select the same (859-893) set in the "Add Stamp(s)" dialog and then specify "Plate Block" as the Format along with all other pertinent condition items. Note that the value displayed is 2X Scott value.
  5. I also have a similar question or request. The "Edit Variety Information (F2)" is NOT available when more than one stamp is selected. It's a real PITA to make changes or corrections one-by-one. Especially when the corrections are to fix wrong data from the built-in DB! There were three different spellings of "Bureau of Engraving and Printing" in the built-in DB for the stamps I've entered so far - and I'm a long way from finished!
  6. I am using StampManage USA 2018. I collect only Commemorative stamps and I am slowly entering my stamp collection into the program. I've noticed on numerous instances that the stamp image panel in the lower right corner of the StampManage window stops displaying the image of the selected stamp. This seems to happen after maybe 45 to 60 minutes of heavy usage of the Add Stamp(s) dialog and viewing my collection with a few Properties edits mixed in. I have to close the program and then re-open to restore normal image viewing. It's really annoying when I'm concentrating on getting my stamps input correctly? I have not noticed any specific sequence of events that cause this to happen.
  7. ARKCPA, thanks for your reply! IMO, it is too much work when their website says "Licensed to use the Scott Numbering System" and also states "How Much is your Collection Worth? Find out with our up-to-date Market Values including Plate Block & Sheets." If I manually override the built-in values, will I need to update every year when software updates are issued? This would be a real pain in the ass! The main reason that I purchased this program was to document and value my modest collection of U.S. Commemoratives. I now feel that I can't rely on the values shown by the program.
  8. I am using StampManage USA 2018. I collect only Commemorative stamps. I've been entering my collection into the program year by year. I've been noticing as I enter the stamps that there are SEVERAL cases where the "Add Stamp(s)" dialog lists a series of stamps (e.g. 1387-1390) and the "Current Value" displayed is WAY more than Scott 2018 values. In the example shown below, the value listed is $3.03, but the Scott 2018 value is 25ยข each or $1.00 for the set! Is there a way to edit or correct these incorrect values? Thank you, Walter Hettel
  9. Hello, folks. I collect US Commemoratives and I have recently started using StampManage USA 2017. I have run into a few occurrences of my stamp variety is NOT found in the included database of USA stamps. As an example, I have a variety of Scott #753. It is a horizontal pair with a vertical guide line between the stamps. I've attached a pic of my stamp. Scott does not assign an "a", "b", or "c" suffix to the varieties of 753 but they list them separately. The stamp that I have has a significantly higher value over the other varieties. How do I enter this stamp into StampManage so that it is correctly listed and has the proper Scott value assigned? The included data for 753 appears to be for a single stamp. Thanks for your help. Walter
  10. I don't know if this helps but, I noticed the same thing. Then, I discovered that there's a separate data display panel for each item in the Collections navigation panel on the left side of the window. I had to arrange the columns for each one and they stuck. In my case, it was only three panels I had to arrange - My Collection, United States, and General Issue. Now when I exit and then later restart StampManage, the columns are set to my preference.
  11. I installed StampManage USA 2013 several months ago. I am finally ready to input my stamp collection data. I find that there is an update available for the program but get this error when I try to download the update: "Error: Unable to download file. Could not open request." How do I resolve this error so I can download and install the update?
