There seems to be something from with Madagascar.
If on the add menu  I select the country I see some issues and if I select on General Issues I see nothing.

When I am working in South Vietnam. when I go to add stamp panel, there are no thumbnails or main image in viewer.   They are present in the collection view.  It just states :image not available" but they obviously are.
The file size limit makes it impossible to attach an image.

I checked my backups of SM (would include prior versions) and cannot find a folder ever numbered 46.

I have not seen the large quantity number issue in the Add screen in the 2022 version, 
As for adding large quantities,  I assume you know if you are adding a lot of stamps with similar characteristics (condition, etc), you can select multiple items by highlighting them (hold control or shift key depending on contiguous or not) to add all at once.  It may be easier to add a range then delete what you do not have.

It looks like StampManage wants you to add to General, Air Mail, etc section and then use "Format" field to select First Day Cover so the FDC is associated with a catalog number.  This may not be a 100% solution since covers may have multiple catalog number stamps.
 
 
 
 

I am on Windows 10. My workaround for this to increase the default screen scaling size using the "Display Settings  Scale and layout  setting for the specific display.  My default mode is 125% already and use 150% for the screen with StampManage (I have a 3 display set up).  It scaling works best when StampManage is already open when you make the display change.   
 
 

I just got a new laptop. After I finished the installation and ensured it was working, I just copied the stampdata.mdb file from my old system to the corresponding location  on the new system and all worked. Note: I did not worry about custom reports nor did I supplement any images.  My approach is the minimum way to get back to my old system.
