SteveH got a reaction from admin in Date Purchased Column
Hopefully, this is an easy one.  On my main screen I use the "date purchased" column.  It displays the date purchased as well as the time, down to the second, that the entry was made.  Is there a way to format this column to show the date only?  I'm just trying to clean some of the clutter from the display.  Thanks.

SteveH got a reaction from Jeff Lynch in Russian Occupation Stamps-Database Error?
After I installed StampManage 2024 I went through and corrected the database for these items.  I found that the database did not agree with Scotts and the images did not agree with either the database or Scotts.  I corrected the range N21-N60, almost all of which were mislabeled.
I uploaded these changes to StampManage and I can only hope they will review them and incorporate them in the next update so that it doesn't overwrite my database.

SteveH got a reaction from admin in Stamp without Scott Number
Is there a way to enter a stamp that is not listed in the Scott catalogue?  The Scott number screen appears to be required in the add stamp wizard.  Specifically, I have acquired stamps from Western Hungary which are not listed in Scott.  Thanks.

It is possible to do it but it is tricky.  You must format an Excel spreadsheet exactly as the Access database in Stampmanage is formatted and then copy and paste your data into Access.  I have done it but it was a struggle.  There are others on this forum who are much more familiar with this procedure than I am and better suited to give advice.

SteveH got a reaction from admin in Update Files
I have just downloaded the most recent updates to Stamp Manage Deluxe 2021.  I try and keep my hard drive (relatively) cleaned up and I notice that the program has created a series of large files in the data folder, the most recent being an Access file named update.mdb and a number of earlier ones named update.mdb.bk1, update.mdb.bk2, etc.  There are now 10 of these files with various dates.  Are they necessary to the operation of the software or can they be safely deleted?  Screenshot attached.  Thanks.

SteveH got a reaction from admin in Installing to wrong directory
I have restructured the directories on my computer and have changed the location for Stamp Manager.  I have gone into the preferences menu and changed to location of all the data files to the correct locations.  Yet whenever I install an update it goes to the old directory, to the point where although I have deleted this directory the install program recreates it.  I have tried completely reinstalling the software and it still recreates and tries to install to the old directory, even though I carefully gave it the correct location at the start of the installation.  I cannot find where it is referencing this location.  Can you help?
