  1. The Want List is a folder that is in the COLLECTIONS view. You can select the WANT LIST folder, then ADD STAMPS, they will be placed in the Want list. You can also move or "Drag" stamps from a collection to the Want List folder
  2. If you use the keyboard shortcuts (CTRL + C) to copy and (CTRL + V) to paste. Do you still have the problem? Is it only with text or same problem with images?
  3. ======Question When I load 2013 all prompts say everything is cool. but when I reopen I get the danger danger box (that's what I call it) telling me I have an" incorrect schema" and I cannot proceed any further. ======Answer you should be able to fix that by searching your computer for a file called HEADERS.WCD. Then delete that file.
  4. Some users have been having problems activating CoinManage, CoinManage Canada and CoinManage USA. I think we finally figured out what the problem was, I believe it only happened when copying over the EXE file. A data file used by our activation system was not updated and it would cause problems in this situation. To get the fix for CoinManage Deluxe 2013, please download from: https://s3.amazonaws.com/LSSDownloads/CoinMngSetup2013.exe for CoinManage USA 2013: https://s3.amazonaws.com/LSSDownloads/CoinMngUSASetup2013.exe or for CoinManage Canada 2013: https://s3.amazonaws.com/LSSDownloads/CoinMngCanSetup2013.exe install to the same folders as your current version.
  5. === QUESTION We currently use your 2011 version of Assetmanager. Are you able to add another company to this or only another location? Like with QB's you buy the software, but can run a few separate companies in the software. === ANSWER HI, what you can do to work with another company is use the BACKUP and RESTORE so save the company data in a ZIP file. You would just RESTORE the ZIP file that corresponds to the company you are working on. When doing a backup, you can specify the name of the backup file, just give it a name that corresponds to the company you are saving data for. So in essence, it works as a SAVE DATABASE / LOAD DATABASE for a company file.
  6. === QUESTION You have the text below on your website marketing page … for bullion coins Automatically retrieve bullion spot prices from the Internet. Recalculate your Bullion coin values based on the latest spot prices. Great for finding the current values of American Eagles and other bullion coins you own. Listings for the most common bullion coins from around the world, including Krugerrands, Gold Maple Leafs, etc.. Allows entry of gold bars. Does your software allow the first two steps to occur with regular graded and ungraded coins ….. if I put all my coins in your program once; do I have to enter the values of each individual again and again later on to keep my collections value current OR can I access your sources and have the new values loaded into my “report” electronically based upon the “grade” I have given them? === ANSWER CoinManage uses a "grade" called B.V. to specify that the coin's value is it's bullion value. All coins you enter with the grade "B.V" will have there value set to the most recent Silver, Gold or Platinum value. If a coin has a grade, it can still take the bullion value if the value for the grade is less than the bullion value of the coin. To get the latest spot prices you would need to select TOOLS > BULLION VALUES... from the main menu.
  7. Regarding running Depreciation reports: REPORTING > DEPRECIATION REPORT USING... from the main menu. if you don't see any items in the Year Ending dropdown, it is probably because there are no assets with generated depreciation schedules. This is most likely because no assets have been entered with the information required to create a depreciation scheduled: Life in Years Depreciation Method Salvage Value Cost Placed Into Service you may also want to use the TOOLS > REGENERATE ALL DEPRECIATION INFO command from the main menu if you have recently imported data or feel certain that there are assets with the required info in your asset database.
  8. Often when testing the import functions, you may want to delete ALL assets if you make a mistake mapping a field or for some other reason. To do this, use CTRL + ALT + SHIFT + X then exit the program. Obviously, this should only be done if you are 100% sure you don't have any data you want to keep.
  9. === QUESTION I am a new user. While I was in the Database section, I accidentally Deleted the country of Mexico. I have been unable to figure out how to add it back to the list. I have a number of Mexico coins === ANSWER to get any database entries back, you can just install the software again. Install to the same folders as your current install. These will be the defaults you will see during the setup
  10. In the ADD STAMP dialog, select the COUNTRY / YEAR tab you see in the lower right part of the window. Then drilldown to the country / year, select the year and then the variety you wish to add. See the red highlighted section of the attached screenshot.
  11. === QUESTION Any plans for this program to be able to be run on a ipad or smart phone for those of us who are registered and using on our computers? === ANSWER We have started work on an Android version and eventually there will be an iPad version. The hard part is making the software synchronize with a database on the PC, not sure exactly how that is going to work at this point.
  12. === QUESTION We are retailers and manufacturers of customized FURNITURE in NEW DELHI, INDIA. We are already using purchased HOME MANAGE HOME. No special Data base was needed and we used it straight away. Now we want to go for Standard or Enterprise version. We are unable to understand the difference in features between the two. We had downloaded the trial Enterprise version but could not set up SQL Data base which we found quite complicated. Now it is expired. But we seriously want to try it and purchase it. We need your help. Our business needs to have barcoded labels and Tags for furniture. We want to track the barcoded items under production by scanning at each stage. Item changes its location during production. Can we design furniture Tags with Item ID and product IMAGE. Our all inventory items are with IMAGE. We also need your guidance to decide about batch Data collection SCANNERS and Barcode LABEL Printer. === ANSWER The only reason you would need the Enterprise version is if you have to store your data in SQL Server or MySQL format. The standard version should work fine for you and it even uses the exact same file format as the HomeManage program. This means your data should import easily into the AssetManage standard program. The report designer that is included with the software lets you design your own labels with the fields you mention. The program also ships with several label templates that you can use or modify for your own needs.
  13. === QUESTIONS I am a novice at attempting to use the Stamp Manage program, I like it but I have some questions about defining certain parts of the program. I have a fairly extensive Canadian collection that I have done nothing with for a number of years, I now have the time to spend on my collection. But I am confused about the definitions shown below. Is there someplace in the Stamp Manager that I can find these answers. I can make judgement calls but the listings do not seem to go from poor to best explanation. Where would I find the definitions of each of the following categories: 1. Grading; A. The differences between F, VG, VF & XF, and B. What is FDC? 2. Hinged; The differences between Hinged, Very Lightly, Lightly, & Heavily Hinged and Hinge Mark & Remnant? 3. Centering; The differences between Poor, Average, Fine, Very Fine & Superb? 4. Gum (Considering that all used stamps have no Gum); The differences in that all Canadian Stamps were "gummed" when sold or had "self adhesive" I cannot understand the need unless the stamp was RG. 5. Cancel; What are the differences between an Average, Heavy or Light cancellation? I would appreciate if you could send me in the direction to get these queries answered. Thanks, === ANSWER Here are a couple sites that should help you: http://www.mcphilatelics.com/education/stampterms/stampterms.html http://voices.yahoo.com/stamp-collecting-beginners-stamp-grading-condition-2374448.html

  17. === QUESTION Last night I updated my current Coin Manage 2013 individual coins in my collection and performed a backup and shut down the software as usual. This morning I brought the system up and wanted to continue with the updates. When I tried to perform an update only 1/3rd of the update screen displayed. This is also true for the add coin screen. I have tried all the tool bar option and found non that helped the problem. Have also deleted and reloaded the CoinManage software and updated to the current version of the software. Continues to be a problem. Tried my Stamp Manage 2013 and no problems displaying the add or update screens. === ANSWER We are going to add a menu item that does this in the next update. Until then, can you first run the program REGEDIT.EXE, drill down to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Liberty Street Software/CoinManage DELETE the 2 sections: AddCoinDlg and Settings See the 2 attached screenshots.

Any variety info you edit should not be overwritten. ,Yes, please ZIP and email me your data file when you have time and we will integrate it into the master database. I have seen the data you have contributed and it is of the highest quality, thanks very much for your efforts.
  22. QUESTION=== I am evaluating the software and have figured how I need to enter the stamps with my needed information (scott’s #, condition, etc.) and have printed a report that will provide the information. However, I will want to send a file that can be opened to the report, instead of the paper, to someone else. How do I do this? ANSWER ======= The best way is to output the report to a PDF file and then just email the PDF file See the attached screenshot for the PRINT OPTIONS pulldown that will let you do this.
  23. Some users have encountered problems importing The Depreciation Method info for an asset. AssetManage stores the method as an integer. After importing, it is possible to set the Depreciation method for many assets at once. Select all the assets to be changed, right mouse click and then select PROPERTIES from the popup menu. See the attached screenshot that shows the depreciation method section to be changed.
  24. Hi, currently the program supports only the number of years. We are going to put in the ability to specify by months. I would say this will be done in the next 2-3 months.
