Yes the program should create a want list if it is not in the program. There should be a separate folder called Want List.. Do you know when you last downloaded the software? If you can ZIP and email us the STAMPDATA.MDB file we can see why it is not inserted manually.. we can also add it manually if necessary and return it to you

Hi, I believe you got this fixed by re-installing the software again. Please let me know if that is not the case. If you download the "small demo", then purchase the software..you will need to download again and install in order to get the many images from remaining countries into the software. I believe this is what fixed your problem.

Hi, is it possible to use the Groups fields as shown in the attached screen shot? You can setup a group for each sub location. We thought about adding a 3rd level below the Rooms, but it seemed that doing so would make the user interface very cluttered and confusing. Will still consider it for the next major release.

Recent question from a customer regarding cost columns: === QUESTION In the program data there is a column called cost. I am trying to print a report and add it to that column but there is no option for that. === ANSWER The reporting has the following fields: Asset.BaseCost Asset.Tax1 Asset.Tax2 Asset.TotalCost These fields correspond to the cost fields you will see in the Add Stamp dialog.

The manual is also available in PDF format in the folder where you installed the software.. (usually \\Program Files\AssetManage Enterprise)

Do these devices support the TWAIN interface? That is the interface we have integrated into the program

=== QUESTION Is there a way to add silver prices to the coins so that it has a separate total. I have coins that the collection value is about $3 but the silver content is $6. I wanted to be able to list a silver price somewhere in the program and then a silver content to the coin and weight so it calculates automatically. Is this possible? === ANSWER To give a coin the current value of a metal, select B.V. as the "grade" (see screenshot). If you don't see "B.V" in the values list for a coin that should have it... it is probably because you have not yet downloaded the latest SPOT prices. (TOOLS > BULLION VALUES). CoinManage will automatically calculate the bullion value of such coins. The value will also be updated each time you download the latest spot prices and select APPLY VALUES TO COLLECTION(S) from the TOOLS menu.

=== PROBLEM We have this installed on a virtual machine and every time the machine is rebooted for patches, our license expires. I am not sure what the fix is. === ANSWER Hi, the next time you are going to have the machine patched, please select TOOLS > LICENSING > DEACTIVATE LICENSE from the main menu. After the machine is patched, select TOOLS > LICENSING > ACTIVATE LICENSE and re-enter the code.

=== QUESTION I’ve been working stamps hard and heavy the past couple of weeks and have sent several messages – here’s another. I discovered that both fields exist in the varieties table. I believe that the denomination field is a text field and the face value field is designated for currency values. However, the face value field does not show up in the field list in the columns tab of the preferences screen reached from the tools menu item. Could or would you add the face value field to that listing of fields in the columns tab of the preferences screen the next time you do an update? That would allow us to enter “Forever” or the stamp face value in the denomination field and enter the actual face value in the face value field. That would require some data rebuilding but – what else does an old man like me have to do?? === ANSWER That is correct. The Face Value is a currency field as that will make sorting possible. I realize that makes entering Forever stamps difficult, but we added it so users will be able to specify that a stamp is worth its face value in the future, I suppose you could just enter the Postal rate at the time the Forever stamp was issued. We will add the face value column to to the Preferences, it was recently added so the majority of stamps do not have it defined yet. We are working to fix that.

StampManage stores information in the Windows Registry, this information includes: the Data folder path, Report directory path, etc.. To view the StampManage registry settings, run the Windows program REGEDIT.EXE and view the section: HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Liberty Street Software

Hi, I replied to you on email about this. Usually when a download doesnt complete it is because an anti-virus program is not allowing the download to happen. The download does not have a virus and this is a false positive. It is also possible that the size of the file is causing an issue with your Internet Service Provider. The size of the file is a huge 3.7GB, the only solution in this case is to send you the software on DVD.

Hi, we will look into this. When you inventory a coin to any collection, it should be removed from the want list as we assume you have bought the coin and no longer need it on a want list.
