Some suggested new features for your consideration: 1. Regarding pricing: Have a UNIT PRICE then multiply that amount by QUANTITY to get SUBTOTAL. 2. Regarding pricing: Store TAX1 and TAX2. Then multiply SUBTOTAL by each to get TOTAL COST. Allow override, which is sometimes needed. 3. Regarding insurance: Store policy number information in drop down table. Allow me to select one. 4. Regarding monitor/screen/displays: I have spoken to support regarding HD screens. The software needs to handle HD screens. I cannot read the buttons at the top and many screens the data displayed is very tiny, making it hard for me to read. 5. Allow for larger size files for upload here in the forum. Currently limited to <500k. Thanks! BTW: This is a very good product! As I become more familiar with it, I find more excellent features.

New to Home Manager. Over 50% of barcode scans come up empty. If it wasn't for the ASIN feature, I would still be typing in data. On the other hand, I can go out to BarcodeReader on the Internet and find my device. I take the barcode off of BarcodeReader and manually enter it into the Home Manager lookup and it still returns a barcode not found. That would seem to indicate that the current lookup is not a good for some items as BarcodeReader. Any way to use multiple sources? Seems that would be far more valuable than hoping the item is available on Amazon. Thanks

In the drop down menu for Cancel, just type what you want and it will be saved when you click OK. Cliff

Okay, I figured out the problem. I am posting it here just in case someone else experiences the same type of problem, the possibility being probably slim to none. It was caused by the receiver for my Microsoft Xbox Elite controller. The receiver was plugged into one of my computer's USB ports. It was showing up in my Device Manager in the Network Adapters section. It indicated that it was disconnected, which I figured was because the controller was turned off. Anyways, after trying most everything else I could think of, I finally tried unplugging the receiver. I then opened HomeManage and was able to activate it online without any problem. Thanks to the admin for responding to my post so quickly. This is easily one of my most used programs. I am happy and relieved to have it back in use again.

We have had some requests for a list of countries with associated numbers. Here it is in txt format. To see the images for a particular country, choose FILE > GO TO STAMPMANAGE IMAGES FOLDER from the main menu. Then open the numbered folder corresponding to the country you want to see. Countries.txt

The user date field in Homemanage 2021 is formatted M/D/YYYY so 2 digit months or days cannot be entered. Can this format be changed?

In follow-up, if I could make a suggestion? Use the windows format to indicate the input order: m/d/yyyy vs yyyy/m/d indicates user entry order: month-day-year vs year-month-day but don't restrict month or day to one digit, in any case, so we enter any date in a year. Thanks

In tab Item Properties->General, I have field Total Cost. When I export to Excel it's called Amount Paid. Personally I like Amount Paid but in any case names should be consistent to avoid confusion (and user not need verify they're one and the same) ALSO Under General tab, field name Manufacturer in the GUI gets exported to Excel as CompanyName /* EDIT */ Another issue: In tab Item Properties->General is field Dealer. Can I change the "type of stamp" to default on something other than "Single?" I have over 1000 Plate Blocks to enter and it really gets old having to pick Plate Block from the drop-down list on every entry. Thanks for any feedback! Mark

I just purchased and started using the mac version of CoinManage. So far so good. One thing I noticed when I tried the windows trial was that I was able to see the overall value of a collection at a glance. Is that feature missing from the mac version, or coming in a future update? Also, any chance the add new coin dialog could have memory? It's kind of annoying to have to click through a bunch of drill downs for every single coin entry, especially when adding many coins of the same type.

So I decided to use the Stamp Data Manager to add a large (100+) group of stamps to the Austria database. Went through the usual process of adding all the stamps then went through and added the various values for all of the new stamps (eg. mint vf, use vf, etc.). All those values showed up in the Stamp Data Manager. Then I closed the Stamp Data Manager. Then opened the program to actually add the stamps from my collection.....but....while all the stamps that I had added appeared, NONE of the values were showing. So I went back to see what was happening and it turns out that if you add stamps via the Stamp Data Manager you can not add values to those stamps you have just added unless you first close the Stamp Data Manager before adding the values and then re-open the Stamp Data Manager and THEN add the values. A very frustrating situation....and I suspect it is the reason that I see so many stamps that have been added to the data base in recent years but with no values. I think people either don't realize the problem or if they notice it, they don't want to go back and re-add the values after spending a lot of time doing it originally. Any chance that there may be a fix to this???

currently there is no way to backup. But we will probably add the option to specify an attachments folder. This folder will be backed up along with the data file and images. This feature will probably be in the 2021 edition out late this year.

Yes, I realize it is an issue. Unfortunately fixing it means making many program changes to detect the user screen size and scale accordingly. We will be doing these changes in the coming months.

In the Coin Database editor (in the Tools menu item) you can click on the Country then Denomination then Type (you might have to look for Bullion Coins) and after you click on Type you have a dialog box with several tabs. On the 2nd Tab Info there is a field for Composition. That should do it.

Just type in TAB. The program will save it and 'TAB' will show up on the drop down list the next time you use it. Cliff

When entering a couple of US Postmaster Provisional Stamps in SM 2019, I noticed that the descriptions of those stamps in the database were incorrect. 10x and 11x types incorrectly showed "George Washington" while 9x types which should have been Washington were blank. So, using the Stamp Data Manager I made the appropriate corrections. Then I clicked "Submit User Changes to Liberty...". But it seem to upload a bunch of images and if I am not mistaken several thousand items....not just the changes I made in the Stamp Data Manager. So did I submit the changes properly, will they be noticed among all the other things that might have been uploaded? Thoroughly confused if I did this right or not. Ken

Yes I agree. Date & Year should be seperate. Date seems okay but Year is a mess within the database. Agree Year should be a 'short text' field as one needs to enter year spans (1860-1862). But this has not stopped the Misuse of this field. Year field should be Year only The rejection of entries NOT 'numeric' or '-' should be built into the database.

Another suggestion: 6. When a bar code search fails, do not load "NULL" into any fields. I have to go back and delete "null" if I don't have data for that field. Thanks

Hi, when you manually resize the column it should save the new widths in the HEADERS.WCD file. This file is usually in the: MY DOCUMENTS\CoinManage folder. If your changes are not being saved between sessions can you verify that this folder is not set to READ ONLY

For the benefit of any prospective (and current) users I thought, as a user not in anyway affiliated with this company, I would add my comment. This board is not large but for the 23 posts there are only 5 replys and three of these are not from Liberty. The two company replies relate to sales none to techical or process or any other question. My experience has been that after a computer crash I was unable to reactive the program. Repeated emails (I did not post here) were never responded to, not even to say 'get lost'. It would appear that there is NO SUPPORT FOR THIS PRODUCT. I think its one of the best I have found in this category so it is a pity that Liberty can't do a better job of support. Its not the money as the program is reasonably priced, but the time one will spend to set up an inventory only to find that any problem will leave you out in the cold. I just don't understand what the problem is! Before spending a lot of time with this product consider the risks.

Hi All, I have noticed that a few people have asked about adding coins that are not already available for one reason or another. No one has answered those question. Is this something that will be added or is there a way to do this already? Is there a way to import my current coins from a CSV file? If not, is this in the works? Is there an attempt to have the Windows and Mac versions to have the same features/functions? It seems that they are quite different. I've noticed that once you have entered a coin, you cannot update the condition/value fields. Am I missing something?

I figured it out...when I went into Preferences and clicked on the "Countries" tab, I saw that there were a number of countries not selected to be shown. When I selected all and restarted the program, the missing countries now appear in the catalog

I just installed an update to StampManage 2021 and it didn't have any stamps past 5608a and no pics past 5583.do i need to upgrade to 2023 to get new stamps?

How can I add coins to the Bullion coins and values list as many common US coins are missing? I.E. Peace dollars, Mercury dimes, Kennedy 90% etc.

The post office seemed go out of control with plate numbers and other simbols. How do you manage 6 plate numbers and Zippy and Mail early in the Day in StampManage By my collection plate numbers were going fine until 1961 when Scott #1190 received two numbers.... So does a Plate Block of 4 stamp become a block of 6 stamps? And then what happens when the entire edge has 4-5-6 plate numbers with Zippy and other writing? Then how does StampManage handle a Plate Block of 5 or 6 stamps.... Zippy??? Please help, there must be a coin collecting school solution Ken A Paul video could help, I cant be the onlyone with this problem.

+1 Absolutely!! I also reported this back in Feb but have too busy to use the app and follow-up since. @admin The Windows date/time in Control Panel indicates a DISPLAY format. M/D/YYYY simply means Windows should suppress leading zeros when displaying the date. Does it make any sense for Windows to offer the option of a date format that precludes the user from entering dates for more than two-thirds of the year? (No dates 11 to 31 in ANY month and forget about all of Oct, Nov and December) Does that make any sense? Could this bug please be addressed please? Thanks

Can items be added to or deleted from the Status Field list in Homemanage 2021?

Hello All Quick question. I just purchased the StampManage USA 2021. I updated the data file (I think). When I go to add stamp it only shows up to Oct 2020. How to I get the program to update with the 2021 stamps?

@Pro86 I'm a user just like you and I came across this problem a few years ago. Somewhere on the forum I read about disabling Webcam Features as a work-around and it worked for me. You can get to the setting on Tools/Preferences on the Preferences tab on the right side of the dialog box. Uncheck Enable Webcam Features and see if that solves your crashing problem. If it does, it probably means your webcam is incompatible with the program. As for the second issue you mention, user-defined fields, my experience is that they are spotty with regard to how they do or don't work. I have up to 78 fields defined and most of them work, but they were created in an older version of HM (which may be key). Anyway, some of them do NOT work. For example field #25 doesn't show up even though 24 and 26 do show up. In addition, I've found that in the Preferences dialog box where you define the user-defined fields, some field numbers are duplicated. For example, Field2 2, 10, 11 and 12 show up twice on the left side of the dialog box making it appear as though you can assign a name to them twice. So I just don't use the second occurrence of those fields and that seems to work. Also be aware that there are some other quirks with Property column (contains User Field 1, User Field 2, etc.) is sorted alphabetically, not numerically, so Fields 10 - Field 19 are listed after Field 1 but before Field 2 and similarly Fields 20 - Field 29 are listed after Field 2 but before Field 3. This may make it easy to mistakenly use a field you didn't intend to use. Its also just counter-intuitive. David

All, I have tried several times to enter the reg code for the 2021 version of Coin Manage Canada. I am running Windows 10 latest. And not running any VM's. When I enter the code I get the following message: I am using a real computer and Coinmanage is not running in a VM. Your turboactivate has a problem. Nothing in the forum and nothing in the support pages .... What is the "turboactivate" checking? I need a solution. Any help would be helpful at this point. Thanks in advance Znamloot

In watching one of the videos on YouTube, I noted the Add Stamp screen looked different on the video than on my screen (and I like the one on the video better - with the box in the lower right located in the upper left instead). I have StampManage Deluxe 2021. Why is mine different?

Whenever I add a stamp that requires addition of an image, Stamp Manage gives me both a row for the original listing without the image and a row with the image.

I decided to break my collection into a number of smaller, more manageable collections. I created new, empty collections. Now I want to "move" my stamp entries into the different, new collections. If I select more than 20 items to move at one time the program will only move one item. I would like to move hundreds of items at a time. How can I do that?

I changed the dates form 2015 values to the recently added 2020 value in the value drop down menu. When I went back a day or so later the value date switch back to 2015. How do I keep the value date at 2020? If it switched back did it change the actual value of the stamp back to the 2015 date?

What plans does Liberty Software have for a MAC/IOS Version? I've been told several times this version would be released this year (2018), although the time-frames kept changing. A more concrete answer is most appreciated.

12 hours is way too long unless you have a slow internet connection. We have had some problems with AVG in the past. Is it possible AVG is slowing down the download somehow?

You can fix that by adding your own correct image. I have done that numerous times to correct or display better quality images that I scanned from my actual stamp!

Hello, I am considering purchasing Coin Manage. Do you have an estimate as to when the 2016 version will be available? Also, what is the typical fee to move from an older version to the most current version? i.e. If I buy the 2015 version now, what is the cost to move to the 2016 version when available and the 2017 version next year?

I'm a new user of StampManage (2016). I've been entering my collection and ran across a problem in the United Nations category. Everything is there including Geneva, Vienna, Kosovo but there is not a category for United Nations - West New Guinea. I would like to add this as a new category, but the scott numbering 1a - 19a already exists under United Nations. So how should I enter these stamps? Thanks in advance for your help. I'm sure this is a relatively easy solution, there is so much to learn. By the way, I love this program so far. Thanks again!

Is there a report that shows totals with a quantity set to 1? A report that does not count duplicates? Or how do you set up a custom report to do that. I just downloaded 2015 Thanks
