Hi, the reason we only have SP-65 is that the Values table only allows 255 fields and we were very close to that limit.  Will take a look and see if there is anything we can do.  Will see if there is room for SP-66 to SP-70

Hi, can you search for a file called HEADERS.WCD and delete it when found.  It is usually in the MY DOCUMENTS/COINMANAGE folder.

CoinManage parses the barcodes on PCGS slabs.  it is able to do this because we can get the pcgs number and grade of the coin from the barcode.  If you are scanning the barcode from the slab of another grading company we cannot get any coin information, for example only the certification number.

FILE > GO TO IMAGES FOLDER

from the main menu.  Does it open a valid folder with JPG files?  Can you make sure you have full read / write access to that folder.

The problem could be that you do not have write access so HomeManage cannot save the images.

We have updated our CoinManage for the Mac.  Latest versions let's the user enter: Grading Service, Dealer & Location information.

does the folder shown in the screenshot 1 error message exist? if not can you create it?

the way it works is that if you add any file in the attachments folder as an attachment, HomeManage will not store the complete path and package the file with backups.

if you select any file not in the designated Attachments folder as an attachment, the program will attach it the old way by storing the complete path.

Otherwise a new user would see nothing in the formats drop down.

we can add the ability to delete pre-defined formats you don't want to see. Probably for the 2024 edition.

try selecting the 2021 icon in the StampManage Catalog.  Then select UPDATE VALUE TABLE from the TOOLS menu.

then EXIT and restart StampManage, do they show up?

that is the USA version.  So you are using the DELUXE now?  You should install the DELUXE version making sure the data folder is set to the same path as the USA version.

If you have already done that, try selecting:

FILE -> UPDATE DATA FILE

from the main menu, then EXIT and restart the program.

Hi, the additional image downloads are only image files, not text data.  They include images for many countries.The STAMPDATA.MDB file which contains all the text data is installed during the install of the main program itself.

Hi, that error usually means there is a mismatch between the program and the data file.  Such as when a customer is using the 2023 version with a 2022 data file.  Can you select FILE > UPDATE DATA FILE from the main menu, then EXIT and restart the program. Does that help?

Hi, yes I understand.  The Mac version was released 20 years after the Windows version.  We spend most of our development time on the Mac version so you should see further improvements every month or 2 with a new update.  The Mac version uses the same database info as the Windows version so there will be no difference there.

Hi, we are going to be working on adding French coins later this year.  Right now it is empty as you have seen.

Is there a book or database of these items anywhere online?  If they are resonably popular We can take a look and keep them in mind for a future version.
