  1. 1/ Insert DVD in your computer 2/ Usually Windows will popup a window ask you to select what to do with the DVD you just inserted. Click on the popup. 3/ Select RUN AUTOEXEC.exe 4/ When the STAMPMANAGE install menu comes up. 5/ Select INSTALL STAMPMANAGE
  2. ?? are you referring to the music that plays when the DVD is inserted and the popup menu appears? Just take the DVD out and watch the video. Then follow the steps with our DVD, there is maybe 2 seconds of music in the video so it is the DVD.
  3. Hi, if you put the 1st disk in your computer, the popup menu will start. There is a menu option to show the manual on your screen. We have a video on\ installing from the DVD at: https://youtu.be/20gijnzB60U
  4. We arrive at the values from consulting leading guides and online dealer prices,..auction results. What grades do you want to show on the report? The program has many grades and it is not possible to do a report that would contain all the grades it would be too confusing. If you can list the grades you need we can do a report that will show them and any other fields you need.
  5. We did a remote with this customer earlier, the problem with the "lost coins" was basically that a few of the coins in the table that stores inventory entered by a user, had a reference to a coin type that no longer existed. There were about 20-30 such coins and they could be seen again by manually setting the coin type id to an existing Type. There was also a problem with backup, it may be because the user had a huge inventory entered and most of the coins had very large hi-def images attached. There may be some problems creating such a huge ZIP file to store all this data we are still working on this.
  6. I don't see any email you sure you sent it to: libertyst@gmail.com? If you come on our CONTACT US page and click on LIVE SUPPORT ONLINE someone can remote to your machine and look at your data,. many times the problem is the data is In another file somewhere else on your machine and we can retrieve it.
  7. can you just email us your name and what version of CoinManage you are using.
  8. Hi, can you email libertyst@gmail.com, reference this post... and we get you moved to a more recent version. We fixed a couple problems with the backup in the past few months.
  9. Hi, yes the WANT LIST WITH VALUES report seems close to what you were asking for. You can export the report to several formats, including Excel, PDF, CSV, etc. Our USA data does not come exclusively from the PCGS listings, for example the USA Mint products...but we try to make sure we include all the PCGS listed varieties.\ We just added many new varieties to the American Silver Eagle section, the free update that includes them will be out this week. please report any missing info to: techsupport@libertystreet.com we put the reports in our bug database and go over them for the updates.
  10. Hi, can you come to our CONTACT US page while you are in front of your new computer. Click on the LIVE SUPPORT ONLINE button and someone can remote to your machine. Please try to make sure you have your old data file STAMPDATA.MDB on the new computer or copied to a USB drive that is plugged into the new computer.
  11. Hi, no it is not. When is is ready you will need to have the SCOTT number of the stamp as one of the import fields. You will also probably only be able to import 1 country at a time. We have started work on the import, it is present in our home inventory software and so it is a matter of getting the code to work in StampManage.
  12. Hi, we have a few people asking for this report. It would probably require adding a new field and filling in data for a few hundred types. It should be ready not for the next free update but the 1 after that.
  13. === QUESTION Specifically, I have a single coin, the Silver Eagle 1990 S, where the fact sheet, says Proof. The software shows 6 categories from PF-65 thru PF-70. Since this coin came from the US Mint, and I am the only owner, and it is still in the original sealed plastic, would it be proper to choose PF-70? === ANSWER Hi, you can choose PROOF, but when we Set values for USA proof coins they are in Grades PF-60 to PF-70, So you would not see a generic value for PROOF coins. We have values in the PROOF category usually For countries that don’t use the numeric Grading scale such as the UK. Even though you bought from the US Mint and are the only owner, does not necessarily mean the coin has the perfect grade of PF-70. For your coin, you could have it graded by PCGS and get the exact numeric value, or just assign it a value such as PF-67.
  14. Hi, we are not so sure why you are not having the images included. If you can come on our CONTACT US page and submit this question someone can remote to your machine to try to figure it out.

Hi, no it won't affect your data. It is just an annoying error, we are trying to fix it but is proving difficult as the problem never happens here on any of our 5 computers. We are working on a new build for Feb. 15 that hopefully will fix it.
  16. ==== QUESTION I accidentally deleted by data file from my computer but I do have a backup on an external drive. When I try to open the program, it keeps telling me i have the wrong path. (I tried extracting the backup file and copying the assets.mdb file to multiple locations but it still does not work. I see one help topic says to copy the file to,the data folder, which can be found in the Tools-Preference tab, but I cannot open the tools folder because I cannot open the program. I also tried to uninstall the program (Home Manage 2014), and install a free trial version of 2017. Still getting the same message. I'd just like to open the program as if I am a new user, then import my data from backup. Can you help? === ANSWER Hi, when you get the error message it should show you the option to open the File on your hard drive. Click the YES button then navigate to the folder Where you copied your older data file.
  17. Deleting the older version will delete some files used by the 2017. In the future we will try to delete older copies during the install process so that you don't see them in the PROGRAMS list. If you really need to get rid of the older version you can un-install, then re-install the 2017 version. Obviously, you MUST backup your data file before attempting this. The uninstall should not delete the data file but having a backup is crucial for obvious reasons.
  18. Hi, is this regarding the stock images that ship with the program or images you have attached to your records? this problem usually happens when the user image folder or stampmanage image folder has been changed. please select: FILE > GOTO STAMPMANAGE IMAGES FOLDER You should see many numbered folders, within each numbered folder you should see the stock images for a country. select FILE > GOTO MY IMAGES FOLDER you will see .jpg files for each image you have added to a stamp that has been added to your inventory
  19. Hi, does it show in the large image window and the thumbnail column? or both? Can you post a screenshot of the problem here or email it to us.
  20. Hi I replied to your email about this earlier please take a look thanks
  21. Hi, all the column settings are stored in the file HEADERS.WCD which is In your MY DOCUMENTS\STAMPMANAGE folder. wchettel is correct, I think some users may be confused as they change the columns for a CATEGORY and then select a COUNTRY for example
  22. To edit which buttons appear on the toolbar. Click the small right down arrow that appears at the far right of the toolbar. See screenshot
  23. Hi, yes HipStamp seemed to acquire BidStart and so the way to search auctions changed. Its not practical to update every previous version of StampManage Deluxe, USA and Canada to fix this. Please email sales@libertystreet.com and we can work something out.
  24. === QUESTION I have the home inventory on my computer which runs windows 7. The computer is slowly dying. Will this program work on windows 10 which is what I'll have to get on a new computer. And I'm assuming all existing data will transfer??? === ANSWER Yes it will work on Windows 10, the steps to move to a new computer are: 1/ Do an internet backup on the old computer: TOOLS > BACKUP DATA TO INTERNET 2/ Deactivate HomeManage on the old computer TOOLS > LICENSING > DEACTIVATE LICENSE... 3/ Install HomeManage on the new computer and activate using the same activation code. 4/. Restore from the internet backup that was done in step 1. TOOLS > RESTORE FROM INTERNET BACKUP...
