  1. Ok, we don't have any other similar reports. So you simply entered 15 into the backup preferences? When you go back in the Preferences the 15 value remains?
  2. If you want we can enter the key from here using Remote Control. Please verify that you are copying and pasting the code directly from the email and there are no trailing spaces after the end of the code when you enter it. for remote support, click on the LIVE SUPPORT icon at: http://www.libertystreet.com/Liberty-Street-Software-Contact-Info.htm
  3. Hi, we have had a few customers with this problem. This will happen when the user does not have permissions to write to the windows registry. That is where all these Preference settings are stored. If you RUN AS ADMIN.. does the problem still happen? To run as admin, start the program by right mouse clicking on the program icon, then select RUN AS ADMIN from the popup menu.
  4. I emailed you, your key should work now. We had to manually deactivate it online.
  5. Hi, did you install from a DVD or download? is it possible you had a space after the last character in the key? can you download the program from: https://s3.amazonaws.com/LSSDownloads/StampMngShip2017.exe install and let me know if you get the same error.
  6. Yes, you are correct on this. It is something we will add to our to do list.
  7. the Images you added don't exist? they are stored as individual jpg files with the prefix COIN. If you can find these files from your older install, then: Select FILE > GOTO MY IMAGES FOLDER.. from the main menu. then copy all the files into this folder.
  8. Hi, we fixed the problem with the + in the barcode. We also made some improvements to the PCGS Add coin dialog for the upcoming free update. There was also an issue trying to scan low grade PCGS slabbed coins such as G-6 grade, that should work now in the upcoming update.
  9. Our downloads are hosted by Amazon which is super-reliable. So in most cases it is probably a local problem. If you purchased a download and can't download, try waiting a few hours. If the problem persists, let us know we can arrange to have a CD sent.
  10. Hi, we did a video on this awhile back. Click Here to view it. It shows how to add an East African coin but it should be helpful for coins from other countries.
  11. Hi, yes the best way to export any data to Excel is to use the reporting, specify Microsoft Excel as the output destination from the dropdown. if a report does not have the info you need exported, you can change an existing report to add the additional fields, before running the report.
  12. Hi, yes we added this to our defect list. Sorry we didn't get the chance to add it to 2017. We will try to get it done for an upcoming update.
  13. we are releasing updates to the 2017 edition next week. You will get an email, please let us know if you still have the problem. We found a couple bugs, that may be the cause of the problem.
  14. Hi, do you have a backup copy of the 2015 data? When a user enters a custom value by typing it into the value field, it should set a Boolean field that we check when updating.\ We will check to make sure this is happening, sorry for the inconvenience. If you can ZIP and email us the backup file from 2015 we can have a developer see what is going on
  15. This error happens when you run an EXE that expects a different database format than the data file it has loaded. It has not been a problem that often as the later versions of the program do a better job of upgrading an older data file. If you get the problem, please either: Do an internet backup if possible and email us your code. or ZIP and email us your COINDESC.MDB file and what version of the program you are using. please email it to: techsupport@libertystreet.com
  16. Hi, the AU-53 grade is not available in the database. A Microsoft Access table seems to have a limit of 255 fields and the value table is very close to that limit. So we are not able to offer every possible grade, remember we include FSB, DMPL, FH, etc.. you can type in AU-53 manually when you enter a coin as the condition. But a value table will not have a separate field for AU-53 like it does with AU-50 and AU-55 so you would need to enter the value yourself.
  17. This is a good idea for a video, please check out: Printing Labels with CoinManage
  18. Hi, we took a good look at doing that awhile ago. It was just not possible to match up another programs coin database with ours. For example, Bust half dollars and their many varieties, there would always be issues mapping some varieties from their database to ours. The only way to import would be a CSV file with the PCGS numbers. I don't think any other coin programs would allow a user to export data with the PCGS number for each coin.
  19. Hi, I'm not sure if we have already fixed this by remote control, in situations like this we almost always find the older COINDESC.MDB in another folder on the user's hard drive.\ Try opening your Windows explorer, click on your C: drive, then type COINDESC.MDB into the find box at the upper right. If you find an older COINDESC.MDB file that looks like it could be your old data file: RUN CoinManage Select the OPEN COINMANAGE FILE... command and choose the data file you think may be your old file.\ If you have problems, we can remote to your machine and do it from here.
  20. Hi, we have fixed this, will have a new build ready in the next couple days. Sorry for the inconvenience.
  21. Hi, we did a video on this: How to use StampManage on more than 1 computer let me know if you have any further questions regarding this.
  22. Ok, from your description it seemed like you were constantly running the downloadable update setup program when an update to the program is downloaded, it shows on your computer as an EXE file. The EXE file then launches a setup which installs the update. to run the program itself, you run another EXE file called StampManage.exe which is usually in your PROGRAM FILES (X86)\STAMPMANAGE folder.
  23. Hi, what is the resolution of your screen? 800x600?
  24. Hi, we did a video that should help you get started on the ITEM DETAIL report. Can you watch it and let me know any further questions. I will look at the pdf example report and try to create a file card report that duplicates it in the next week or so.
