A customer just called and was experiencing crashes when starting CoinManage 2017. He is in IT and figured out a workaround. Basically, you run the program TURBOACTIVATE.EXE the will be found in the same folder as COINMANAGE.exe usually: \\Program Files\CoinManage or \\Program Files (x86)\CoinManage when you run TURBOACTIVATE.EXE it will ask for the CoinManage license code. Enter the code and exit. Then run CoinManage again you should no longer experience the crash. We are working on a new build that will fix this problem. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Yes, some older versions will have problems in Windows 10, If you try running CoinManage 2007 on Windows 10 I'm sure there will be issues. Updating all of the previous versions of CoinManage since 1997 so that they work on Windows 10 is not feasible. Virtually any other software company would tell you the same about previous versions of their software.

If you have an older version you won't be currently getting free values updates. Owners of the current version get free updates. You are free to use the older version of the software, it will never expire. But you won't be able to download free updates.

As an example: The cost for CoinManage USA 2015 to upgrade each year is 19.95. If you have the current version of the software you can download the free updates. If you decide not to upgrade you can use the version you have indefinitely but won't be able to download the free updates.

Hi, normally adding a new grade would not be a problem. But the Microsoft Access database we use limits the number of fields in a table to 255 or so..The value table has reached the limit so we would have to find a new way to add extra value categories. Hopefully there will be a solution at some point but not for the upcoming 2017 edition.

Hi, to do this you need to have each user pointing their DATA and IMAGES folder to a shared folder on your home network. each user must have READ/WRITE permissions to the folder. Is best to install the program on both computers and specify the shared folders during install. You can also go in later to the preferences. TOOLS > PREFERENCES and change the folder locations to the shared folders. We will make a video on this in the near future.

Hi, we recently added Face Value to the values section. So you will see the option to apply the face value as the stamp value. Not all USA stamps have the face value set, we are working on adding that for modern stamps. Used values for stamps from 2011-2016? No disrespect but used stamps from that period are almost always worthless. I don't think we should put a value of .20 or whatever in that case.
