the users database is a file called users.db that is in the same folder as the data folder. Do you have this file in your folder? If so, do you have full read / write access to it.

yes we are moving the COINMANAGE ID so it is not so visible, you can stillo sort on that column but the coin list should have a default sort by year.

Hi, we clear that info as if we dont then you would need to manually clear it after clicking on the APPLY button. You can manually set multiple coins to the same dealer, purchase date by selecting the coins to edit in the list view, then right mouse click and select PROPERTIES from the popup menu.

can you try manually creating the directory that it says it cannot make, I think this may be some sort of permissions issue

Hi, thanks for the follow up, yes you can import from an Excel spreadsheet. It is best to save the spreadsheet as a CSV file before importing to remove any Excel formatting that can cause problems when importing. We do not currently support direct import from Active Directory.

Hi, we were able to fix this. It was a problem in the last build, can you select HELP > CHECK FOR UPDATES from the main menu. It will download the latest update that we just put up this morning. The CoinManage 2016 has been delayed, mainly because we want to put in a nice way to enter sets, right now it can be confusing to figure out which category a particular set, proof set, commemorative set is listed under.

Hi, we are working hard on a native Mac version of AssetManage, but it takes a long time to write a proper Mac application so it won't be ready till late this year or early next.

Hi, its hard to say without knowing what information the other system needs from AssetManage. You can export any AssetManage data to a spreadsheet and use it with your other system, assuming the other system can import data.

doing this would require a new field in the coin varieties table. The field would be a floating point number that would be multiplied by the bullion spot price for that coin to arrive at a final value. Its a good idea, and not super hard to implement so we will add this to the 2016 edition. The issue though is where to find the premium information. It may take a couple months to get all the data in there.

The Face Value sounds like a good idea for many coins,. the problem is what do you do with commemorative coins and bullion coins where the value on the coin is really not meaningful? You want a new window that will show the value/cost info? we have a Total Value command but it is not too informative we will try to improve it for 2016. We have a way to add complete stamp albums in our StampManage softwarwe, will add something similar for 2016 to CoinManage. Thanks for the suggestions, at this point most of our new features are based on customer feedback.

By next week, we are going over the database this week looking for missing 2016 and 2015 items.

we will take a look at this in the next day or 2. I think the problem may be the brackets ( ) are reserved characters in the database, and in this instance we are not saving them properly causing the crash.

Hi, we just put up a new build that should properly show fully depreciated assets using the Depreciation Report feature under the REPORTS menu. Or do you need a report that shows ONLY fully depreciated assets? We can do that and add it to the program in the near future.

we fixed a bug specifically related to Bolivia images for the 2016 edition. Can you try selecting: FILE > GOTO STAMPMANAGE IMAGES the delete ALL the jpg images you see in the 442 folder. Install again. We are working on a free update that will include some fixes for problems that have been reported on this forum and by email. Will be done in a week or 2.

Hi, we will take a look at the incorrect images in the countries you mention. We are adding several thousand new varieties + images each month. Sorry if you thought the program contained complete up-to-date listings for every country in the world.. it does not.have complete listings for South Africa as you can see in the trial version.
