  1. Hi, there is no virus in our software. We have not 1 but 2 anti-virus programs running on the development machine that creates the final EXE file. We then upload the EXE to Amazon downloads site from the same machine. Some viruses and other malware work by infecting various EXE files on your machine, I suspect that is what happened in your case. Sorry to hear about it.

    yes, both the Deluxe and USA 2016 have been updated, working on Canada now. Bye the way. the Canada eBay searches should search the eBay Canada site, not the USA site as was the case in previous versions.
  3. Ok we are taking a look at this now, maybe the comma in the search is causing the problem, does it happen without the comma?
  4. We have been asked a couple times recently if we have software for Ancient Coins. We do not, we used to resell a program called Roman Coins on DVD, it seems to still be around. Roman Coins on DVD
  5. Regarding the problem when adding items. We are trying to debug this problem.. , is your display set to 1024x768?? If not what is the setting? does it happen if you set your display to: 1280 x 1024 or higher? We show a smaller ADD COIN dialog for 1024 x 768.
  6. Hi, this was fixed by downloading the update directly instead of using HELP > CHECK FOR UPDATES. I am inputting pennies. when I am done does the ID number continue when I start inputting my nickels. or can I start with #1 and continue === ANSWER The CoinManage ID number is a unique number that is generated by the Microsoft Access data file when you add an item. Unfortunately you can't set this number, even if you edit the Microsoft Access data file directly. It is called an AUTONUMBER type field.

    Yes, it seems ebay has change the URL used for searching. It has made the old search URL simpy redirect to the main page. I can't ever remember them doing that before. Anyways we have to change the program and put up free updates to make this work again. Will be putting up new versions in the next few days and email all customers.
  10. Hi, are you sure you installed to the same folder as your current data file? someone may need to remote to your machine if you are sure you installed twice to the same folders.

  12. Hi, to move multiple items to another room or location, simply "drag" them to the target location. Or use the MOVE / COPY button you see on the toolbar.
  13. === QUESTION I purchased Home Manage some time ago, but am getting around to inputting a lot of items and attachments (e.g. PDF files). Would you please tell me how this data file works? Meaning, are all items, images, and attachments located and saved in one file? === ANSWER All text data is stored in the ASSETS.MDB file. You can see where its located by selecting FILE > GOTO DATA FOLDER from the main menu. The images are stored in individual .JPG files. You can see what folder by selecting FILE > GOTO IMAGES FOLDER. Attachments... we simply store a pathname to the attachment in the data file. Storing the attachments in the data file would cause problems. Also, once I add an image can I then delete the original image off my computer and only have the image saved within the data file of the program? === ANSWER yes, as we create a new .jpg image file in the IMAGES folder. Thank you for helping me understand this, and anything else I should know about this file.

  18. Hi, ok we deactivated the licenses so you are free to use them on other computers.
  19. Ok, after a restore it is probably best to EXIT and then restart the software. We will work to make sure the RESTORE does not have this issue with some customers.

  23. Hi, we are working hard to get the 2016 out by early May. We are adding a new feature that should make it easier to inventory sets / us mint products and that will take a couple weeks at least. You will get a free upgrade if you purchase any 2016 edition. the 2017 edition will cost 19.95 to upgrade a couple dollars more for the Deluxe version.
  24. can you try updating to the latest free update using HELP > CHECK FOR UPDATES from the main menu. This problem should be fixed.
