  1. Hi, the last response is accurate. Like I mentioned in a previous post we are working on a CSV file import. You would first save your Excel spreadsheet to a CSV (comma separated text file) and then import it into StampManage Our AssetManage business software has this feature so we can move some of the code to StampManage but it still needs a couple months of work to function properly.
  2. Hi Mike, you are looking to import a spreadsheet into StampManage? Currently we don't have an import feature, we started work on one but it won;t be ready for a couple months. We will include it in a free update to StampManage 2016 at some point.
  3. We will check this on Windows XP. We are trying to continue support for Windows XP even though it gets harder as Microsoft and other companies discontinue support for XP and soon Vista.
  4. If your trying to enter a format that is not in the drop down format list you can manually type in the format into the edit box that is part of the format dropdown. For items like that in some instances you could take the Plate Block or Sheet value and reduce it accordingly. It is not possible to include values for every type of format imaginable, and using a formula to arrive at a value is not a good idea as it depends on the stamp rarity, etc... I would just put that info in the Comments section. If the program notices stamps in your collection table that do not belong to a valid collection then it places them in the ORPHANED RECORDS collection. The thinking is you can then either move them to a valid collection or create a new collection to place them. Without the ORPHANED FOLDER you would never see the stamps in the program as the collection they are assigned does not exist in the program. Feel free to post any questions here so everyone can see the answers, you can also call the number on our Contact Us page, late afternoon is usually the best time to call.
  5. I'm going to send you info for the new 2016 Canada program in a few minutes. Please check your email.
  6. We fixed that SCOTT number stamp search problem, you can download the program again & install...Or wait for the 1st free update in about 2 weeks. Regarding this STAMP ADD problem, can you download the program again and let us know if it still happens? Will remote to your machine today if you wish to take a look if it does.
  7. Hi, that error means the data file has become corrupted. This sometime happens when you lose power while the data file is open, In most cases, you can repair the file simply by opening the STAMPDATA.MDB file using Microsoft Access. If you do not have Microsoft Access, you can ZIP then email us the file we will be happy to repair the file and send it back. If the file is too big to email, please open an account with DropBox, or we can share a DropBox folder for you to upload the file.
  8. The Asset# field should be used for your in house barcodes. The barcode field is meant for barcodes you will find on the item when purchased such as UPC barcode. If you have Microsoft Access you could open the ASSETS.Mdb file and simply copy the contents of the BarCode field to Asset#. Or create a simple SQL Query to do that, we can assist if you wish. If you are using the Enterprise version a simply SQL Query will copy the field.
  9. Customer wants to know: what does CAC located after 'Graded by" on the additional information page when adding a coin. CAC is an additional coin grading options, see: http://www.caccoin.com/
  10. can you email us the CSV file you are trying to import? please send to: techsupport@libertystreet.com we can debug the problem using your file.

  12. We are going to do a free database update for the 2015 edition before the 2016 comes out in a couple months. Will make sure we add every 2016 coin / set we can find. We will have this done in a couple weeks.
  13. Regarding this comment, please note the DATA folder and the IMAGES folder should not be in the PROGRAM FILES (X86) or PROGRAM FILES folder. The reason for this is Microsoft Windows now marks these folders as READ ONLY. So you will get sharing errors when using the software. As Dcadon says, try to install the DATA file in a folder underneath MY DOCUMENTS. Same applies to the MY IMAGES folder where images you attach to your inventory is kept.
  14. many times the reason a code will not work is that you download the Demo for the CoinManage USA version. Then purchase the CoinManage Deluxe version. or vice versa. The USA and Deluxe use different codes, please verify this is not the case. You may need to download the correct version after purchase and simply install it to the same folder.
  15. You just need the address of the customer? No other info related to the customer? We will work on an altered version of the check out receipt when I get this info.
  16. Hi, if you can email us a screen shot of the Depreciation section of the asset that causes this problem..we will take a look. I dont see an image attached to your post if that is what you intended.
  17. Hi, the first message was related to one of our other products. We fixed the problem with Customers in AssetManage, if you download the demo again you can verify. We also added a new version of the report designer and a couple of other fixes for the latest demo.
  18. We are taking a look at that tonight. Will post update in the next day. Thanks for letting us know.
  19. === QUESTION I was checking over the software and I understand that it's mainly for home inventory, but I would like to know would it work well for my hobby collection. I have a fair size of Lionel trains and accessories which I would like to inventory. I want to keep track of everything I have in my collection. I see that I can add pictures which be very useful, but I just need to know if it would work for me for my train collection. I would be looking to create folders to help break down my collection into different categories. === ANSWER think you could use it for your Train collection. The program lets You define over 100 user defined text, date, currency and Boolean fields that would probably be useful. It is possible to rename the "location" and "room" fields to correspond to something more relevant for lionel train collections.
  20. Had a customer who could not get Print Preview to work for reports. Even after an hour of remote control still could not figure out why this was happening. the customer solved the problem in the Preferences window for his Canon printer by choosing: Cannon printer preferences, quick set, preview before printing. this may apply to other printers so try it if you can't get Print Preview to show up
  21. is not going too well to be honest. The problem is that customers would expect to use the same data file across platforms We hav'ent found a great solution for that, may need to convert from Microsoft Access to a format the Apple iPhone / iPad can use. We have started on the Apple App but can't give a finish date at this time.
  22. the 2016 values are not ready yet, they will be included with the 2016 Upgrade. Are you referring to the 2016 Upgrade page? That would not be ready until 2016 is done in late Feb. / March 2016.
  23. You have to do it for the regular 2015 values and then for the PCGS values, selecting from the VALUE TABLE drop down,. We will try to make that more efficient. No, just pay once you would get the 2016 Deluxe free upgrade
  24. Just the difference in price sent to: PDD@libertystreet.com - APPLY VALUES updates all prices and should be done after an upgrade. When you update using PCGS prices and coins that were graded by PCGS get their value updated as PCGS values are for PCGS graded slabbed coins
  25. Hi, we update the main prices once a year, you can use the APPLY VALUES command under the TOOLS menu to update prices. Any bullion coins with a value set to B.V. will have their bullion value updated by that command. 2016 is out probably late Feb. / early March. Anybody who buys CoinManage 2015 Dec. 1 or later will get a free upgrade. email sales@libertystreet.com with your new email we will add it to our mailing list that we use for upgrade emails.
