A friend and I, both using StampManageUSA (he is on 2015, I am using 2016), have run into this same problem - all searches for stamps on eBay (excepting the completed auctions) come up empty, apparently looking in the category for 'Electronics'.
I noticed that eBay has changed some of the category numbers in Fall of 2015 and again in April 2016, so wonder if that is not the problem. The default category set at 261 may no longer be correct.
Using Collectors.com it displays the eBay listings.

Noticed today that the links to ebay were not working in stampmanageusa2015 so i upgraded to the new version.  The new version doesn't link properly as well.  You just get the ebay main screen with no entries.
 
 

Well I figured this one out.  The imported data did not have a category or description field either, and when those were included, the "OK" button became active again.  But I have a followup question - I know you can select multiple records and edit the data in particular fields for all at them all in one go, but it appears you cannot assign them all to a particular room at the same time.  Am I missing something?

UPDATE:
Happily to say that that I've fixed my problem but there appears to be a flaw with the software.
Since the data which I knew should appear in the StampManage Catalog was not there I checked in the Stamp Data Manager and to my surprise there it all was. I simply closed the window with the "Close" button and then when I checked the SM Catalog it appeared there as well. Perhaps all that was required was this "refresh" of sorts.
 
Due to a failed attempt to install my Stamp Manage data to my laptop I am now experiencing the same problem with my desktop.
The issue being that when I attempt to "Restore" my last zipped backup file from the previous night there is data missing which I know should be there. I've actually attempted using 2 different backup files with the same results. Any idea as to what the issue may be and how it can be fixed?

Hello, I am considering purchasing Coin Manage. Do you have an estimate as to when the 2016 version will be available? Also, what is the typical fee to move from an older version to the most current version? i.e. If I buy the 2015 version now, what is the cost to move to the 2016 version when available and the 2017 version next year?

I'm a new user to StampManage.  I saw on the website that the application is updated roughly every 2 months.  I'm assuming this is a combination of application changes, modification, bug fixes, etc. and also updates to the DB (new stamps, images, values, etc.).  Do the StampManage updates get announced?  Is there a document documenting what changes are in the update?  Is there somewhere on the website where one could see all the previous updates and what was contained in the update?

When I go to manage Users and try to add a user I keep getting "Update User Failed!". I upgraded from 2014 to 2015. Do i need to change some setting or adjust something to be able to use Users?

I have used CM since 2008 and it is a great program. But I have to agree, I want my coins in order by year and not a number.

When entering a new coin in my collection, I have to hit the apply button and then go back to the coin click on properties and then add any additional info such as date where purchased and so on. I don't remember having to do that in previous edition's. Any Thoughts.

Can you please tell me how to remove/delete data from AssetManage?  If I have data in fields like Manufacturer, Dealer, Condition, Status, etc. that is not relevant anymore, how can I remove this from the drop-down lists for these data entry fields?  I have tried going to the View tab on the main menu, but some of these categories are not listed there.  And if they are there, I can see a list of all the data associated with a particular field, but if the data is not associated with any record, I am not able to delete the data (for example, if I go to View, Dealer, then click on one of the items in this list, and it does not show any asset record(s) associated with this Dealer, the Delete button in the tool bar at the top of the screen does not become active.  But if there is a record associated with this dealer, the Delete button is active, but I would not want to delete the Dealer since it is listed in an active asset record).

Can we import a list of employees from an Excel file? or best load it from LDAP (active directory)?
Or is there a quick way of inputing bulk employees?

Found it myself.
File --> Import ans select a csv
I used CSVDE command to export list of user if my active directory
Example: this will export last name, first name and email
csvde -f output.csv -d "OU=ABC,OU=Users,OU=LONDON,DC=DOMAIN,DC=COM" -r "(objectClass=user)" -l "givenName,mail,initials,sn"

Wish List: 
Output report using:  coins-detailed with precious metals content with totals.
Fields Displayed and sorted by:
Country, Denomination, year, type, Coin manage number, silver content (oz.), gold content (oz.), Cost, Current Value (either bullion value or numismatic whatever is higher),

Fields Displayed:
Number of coins, Oz of Silver, Oz of gold, Total cost, Total Value
 
If this report could be generated by each collection using all of the coins in that collection that would be really great. 
 
 

I was curious if anyone had figured out how to do this.  
As of now, coins such Silver Eagles draw premium over spot when selling, and this represents a potentially significant value in % over spot value.  For instance, many places will pay up to 2$ over spot for Eagles, representing a 13-14% increase in value over spot @14.83.  Who knows this may not always be the case, but it is right now.  And older eagles draw even more significant premiums in some cases (1996).
So my question is this - is it possible some how in the database to use a value such as B.V. + 2$?  It would be cool if this was modify-able at the coin level.  I don't think just modifying the bullion values manually is a good idea, as not all silver creates this same premium.

I currently use CM deluxe, and I'm interested in Currency Manager. is there a price break for loyal return customers like me?

Is there a way to have the face value of a coin added as the purchase price. Then it can be over written if the coin was purchased over face value? Also is there an easy way to list the value/cost of all collections. I can generate a report that will will list them all but a tab for it would be nice.
One more thing. I have a lot of collections. separated by type in albums. If I were to sell am album, say dansco 8100 linc cents id have to add each one to the sell list. can I just add the complete album/collection it would save a lot of time

Any idea when the update for the 2016 coins will be coming?

When I create an inventory item which includes an invoice no, I notice that after saving the item, the details area for the item that appears includes the invoice no displayed as a link (see attached image). However, Invoice No is not one of the options for displaying selected items under the View tab. Just for curiosity, I clicked on the link to see what would happen and HomeManage promptly crashed, I suspect on a bad database call.
Is there some special way Invoice No's have to be recorded for this to work, or is this borrowed code from AssetManage that works there but not here?
