I then selected a block of 4. It returned the same value of $.25, it seemed it should at least return a $1.00 (4x$.25). Can you explain. Do I have to enter the value. ==== ANSWER === Hi, if the stamp does not have an individual value for “Block of 4” Or possibly “Plate Block” you would need to manually enter the value. We don’t calculate values as that can lead to problems, such as a rare stamp that is worth many times more as a block of 4 than as a single stamp. To find the market value of more valuable stamps, you can right mouse click on the stamp and select one of the eBay search options. This will give you an idea of how much those stamps are selling for on the internet.

Hi, we are looking at a way of doing this. The problem is let's say you scan 50 asset UPC barcodes with your scanner. Then you import into HomeManage and 1 or 2 of the UPC barcodes are not found in the online database. You would then have to go back and try to figure out which of the items you scanned has the non found barcodes and enter the product information manually. That could be quite frustrating. So we will probably have a new wizard which will make this a bit easier if possible. Will be ready for the 2018 edition late this year.

If your getting an error that StampManage cannot locate your data file, try searching for it on your hard drive. Then navigate to the folder where it is found the next time you run StampManage.

Hi, can you drag the middle splitter bar down until it completely covers the image and detail windows. Does this remove the error? If so, you can use this workaround until we can fix a problem which appears to be related to the detail view on some user's computers. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi, this is correct. To create a new Category under a country you would need to use the STAMP DATA MANAGER. StampManage has all the countries/stamp issuing entities and categories listed in the SCOTT catalogues, to create a new category can be done in the STAMP DATA MANAGER

Hi, to enter all the stamps at once you would select the stamps from that range, then select "Plate Block" as the STAMP FORMAT. The USA database has a group entry for #1030-1053, another way would be to select that item and then choose "Plate Block". Since you seem to only have up to 1052 you could not do that.

Hi, you can select the room and then click on TOOLS > SHOW TOTALS from the main menu. It will show you the total values, cost, etc..

Thank you, I think in the near future we will add a way to specify a stamp has inaccurate information. Right now, a user could correct the information and submit it, but we don't know if the edit is due to inaccurate information or because the user added some additional into to an accurate variety.
