  1. Yes, that would require we basically hard code "book related" fields into the program so that scanning book barcodes would populate those fields. Or change the program so that a designated user defined field would receive certain scanned input. To be honest, HomeManage is not ideal for book collectors, just someone who needs to inventory a few books in their house as part of a home inventory.
  2. 2 minutes? are you on a normal speed internet connection? if so, can you try this again today to verify there was not a problem with the barcodelookup server. if the problem continues, do you still have the issue when you enter the barcode directly at the https://www.barcodelookup.com/ site.

  7. HI, we will take a look at this soon. We are working on a new free update to StampManage by the end of the month. Have added quite a few new values & images. Having some problems figuring out why and toolbar customizations are not being saved properly.
  8. Not sure I understand. When you added stamps there were no values and no you see values for them? Did you update recently? we have added many values to the program recently.
  9. can you give an example of exactly what you type into the PCGS barcode lookup search box? a search string that does not bring up the correct coin?
  10. Hi, there is no code in the install program that would delete image files or delete the assets.mdb file. Is it possible those files are still in another folder? that is usually the case when we remote to a user's computer. We just had many people upgrade to version 2020 in the last few weeks, there was a couple issues like this but the data file and images were in another folder. For customers who already have 2020, we have put up a new update last night. Select: HELP > CHECK FOR UPDATES from the main menu. Regarding the thumbnail images. If you select: TOOLS > CREATE THUMBNAILS FOR ALL IMAGES then exit and restart the program does the problem continue
  11. Hi, which version of StampManage is this for? the StampManage Canada or Deluxe version? Do you know if the technician actually went through the install program or just copied files to a new computer?
  12. Hi, can you click on this download link: https://s3.amazonaws.com/LSSDownloads/StampMngShip2020.exe after downloading and installing from that link. Run the program and select: HELP > DOWNLOAD ADDITIONAL IMAGES... from the main menu.

    did you accidently delete the coin from your inventory or from the database? if from your inventory it should be in the DELETED COINS folder. Simply "drag" it back to a collection. if you deleted the variety while using the COINMANAGE DATABASE EDITOR to edit the database, select FILE > UPDATE DATA FILE... from the main menu. Then EXIT and restart the program it should be back in the master database.
  16. For a barcode that does not succeed, does it always not succeed? If so, it is probably not yet in the 200 million item online database we use. The database is growing constantly (2 million more items in the last month) but it does not contain every possible UPC barcode. Sorry for the inconvenience.

    NGC Coins

    Hi, we have had several customers ask if they can add NGC coins by scanning the barcode on the NGC slab. We took a look at this a couple years ago. Unlike PCGS, the NGC barcodes did not appear to contain the NGC number which we could use to look up the variety info.

  21. Hi, we have the most common formats hard coded into the program so you can't delete them. To add a new format, simply type it in manually to the format dropdown instead of choosing it from the list.
  22. Hi, so you have a very old version of the program which had the code on the printed manual? if so, can you email sales@libertystreet.com and we can try to look up your code for you.

You are entering coins from which country? you should not get this error often for USA coins. 3/4 of the coins? are these some of the less common PCGS numbers... we try to keep up with the large number of new PCGS number varieties that constantly introduced.., can you give a couple examples of the PCGS numbers of coins not found we will take a look for the next free update.
  24. Hi, can you go to: TOOLS -> PREFERENCES Set the default value table to 2020. Make sure the "automatically insert value... " is selected
