  2. Hi, if the stamp does not have a SCOTT number, you can enter a number into the alternate catalog number fields we have available. But if you sort on SCOTT number the program is not going to take into account other catalog numbered listings.

  6. Hi, we disabled the update as a few customers were having problems after updating . So we are delaying the update till this is resolved. It may be related to the AVG anti-virus software but we are not 100% sure at this point.
  7. the problem is almost certainly due to the size of the image. Check the size of some scanned images, they are often enormous. When you use the import in the Images tab, it will make a copy of the I'm image, convert it to a JPG if necessary, then create a new JPG file in the user's images folder The new image file will have the format: Stampxx(y).jpg where xx is the unique internal ID of the stamp and y is which of the 4 possible images that each stamp record can contain.
  8. Ok, so disabling AVG antivirus with the COINMANAGE.EXE program resulted in the crash disappearing? I will email the people with this problem to see if there are using AVG antivirus. If so, that would explain why only a few people are having this problem. thanks for the informative post, much appreciated.
  9. === QUESTION With the asset manage software, would I be able to export any information into the JD Edwards World software or, at the very least, export to excel? Hi, yes you there is an EXPORT TO EXCEL feature under The FILE menu, you can also Export any report to Excel format.

Hi, 1 customer with this problem was able to work around it by: When running STampManage.. right mouse click on the program icon from my desktop and selecting "run as administrator " don't know if you already tried that or if it helps ?, but you may be able to pass that on as a temporary solution to other members if they are having the same problem?!

  12. We have a user who can avoid this problem by running Coin Manage as an admin. Can customers with this problem please try this and report the results. Thanks.   13. yes. we didn't think of the stamp format when adding this feature. Right now it will remove the variety from the want list regardless of format. We will fix this, sorry for the inconvenience.
  14. Hi Mike I dont think I explained properly, we put up that new EXE file so we could isolate the problem happening when a anything is added to the list control. So we put up a build that does not add anything to the list control. Some other companies are complaining that there software developed an identical problem after a recent Microsoft windows update, so we are now trying to figure out if Microsoft is going to fix the problem or if we need to work around it somehow. Sorry for the delays, but this could easily take a few days to get resolved. We are preparing an update that .works around the problem.

We put up a debug build, can you: Download this file if you have StampManage Deluxe 2016: https://s3.amazonaws.com/LSSDownloads/StampManageDeluxe.exe or this one if you are using StampManage USA 2016 https://s3.amazonaws.com/LSSDownloads/StampManage.exe REPLACE the StampManage.exe in your \\PROGRAM FILES X86\StampManage with the file, in the case of the deluxe version you will need to rename the file to StampManage.exe then run, does the ADD STAMP dialog come up with no crash? Thanks in advance.

I will post the location in this thread in the next day or 2 for anyone with the problem that has the time to download and install the debug builld
  17. === QUESTION I purchased, downloaded and installed StampManage USA 2016 Upgrade (SM) on a new Win 10 laptop with no previous versions of SM installed. I copied my StampData.mbd file from Stamp Manage 2009 over to SM 2016. Everything looked good with my data, however, the database now only goes to 2009 instead of 2015! === ANSWER In this case, the user has replaced the 2016 data file with one from an older version. To get the data added since the older data file simply install the 2016 edition again to the same folders, that Will import the 2016 data the first time you run the program.
  18. ok good to hear. This type of problem is almost always some sort of permissions issue. If the admin does not have read / write rights to the file mentioned above this is the error message you will receive.
  19. Hi, at this time we do not support those bonus depreciation methods. Sorry about that. We are looking to add 179 deductions and partial life in years in the next few months.
  20. Hi, those 2 fields have never been properly integrated into the software. They were meant to be a text description of what is on the face and back of the note design. there is no way to enter that info but it is not too hard to add so we will do so for the next free update.

  25. The Australia database is pretty complete up until 2012 or so. We also have the Australian States listed. Will be adding more recent varieties in the coming months.
