  1. Hi, that should not happen. When you move a coin to another collection it should still be able to be edited. You should only see a "mirror" entry if you clone or use the MOVE / COPY dialog with the COPY checkbox set. you can also hold down the CTRL key when dragging coins to another collection if you wish to make a copy and not move the coin to the other collection.
  2. The next time it crashes, can you go to your DOCUMENTS folder, then ZIP and send the ERRORLOG.TXT + CRASH.DMP files to us. Thanks. we have been looking at this the past couple days, taking out some code that may be causing the problem. I'm sending out links to people with this problem that will let them revert to an older build since it seemed to happen after an update.

Thx. === ANSWER The program supports PCGS barcodes, but not NGC.. we looked at that and NGC does not appear to include the variety information in their barcode so we can't do much with it. The PCGS slabs contain the PCGS # of the coin in the barcode, so we can look up the exact variety, they also include the numeric grade of the coin so we can even look up the value
  4. Hi, we went over the Guatemail images for the latest 2016 Deluxe update, so no problems and ended up adding a few new images. Can you try selecting FILE > GOTO STAMPMANAGE IMAGES from the main menu. Then delete all the files in folder 883 Now install the program again.
  5. Hi, is UN - West New Guinea listed in the SCOTT catalogues? If so, we will need to add them as a new country. each country has its own SCOTT number so it is not a good idea to add these issues to another UN issuing entity as you have seen.
  6. just install the program again to the same folders, that will replace any stampmanage database data you accidently deleted.
  7. Hi, this issue is almost always because a customer has downloaded the DELUXE demo then purchases the USA version and tries to use the key from that purchase. If you download the Deluxe version and purchase USA STampManage you must install the USA edition from the provided link. We also had an issue where a customer was pasting a key into the activation window and there were a couple blank spaces after the end of the key. Please remove any trailing whitespace from the key if you paste it in.
  8. Hi, there is no virus in our software. We have not 1 but 2 anti-virus programs running on the development machine that creates the final EXE file. We then upload the EXE to Amazon downloads site from the same machine. Some viruses and other malware work by infecting various EXE files on your machine, I suspect that is what happened in your case. Sorry to hear about it.

    yes, both the Deluxe and USA 2016 have been updated, working on Canada now. Bye the way. the Canada eBay searches should search the eBay Canada site, not the USA site as was the case in previous versions.

  12. Regarding the problem when adding items. We are trying to debug this problem.. , is your display set to 1024x768?? If not what is the setting? does it happen if you set your display to: 1280 x 1024 or higher? We show a smaller ADD COIN dialog for 1024 x 768.

Unfortunately you can't set this number, even if you edit the Microsoft Access data file directly. It is called an AUTONUMBER type field.

    Yes, it seems ebay has change the URL used for searching. It has made the old search URL simpy redirect to the main page. I can't ever remember them doing that before. Anyways we have to change the program and put up free updates to make this work again. Will be putting up new versions in the next few days and email all customers.
  17. Hi, are you sure you installed to the same folder as your current data file? someone may need to remote to your machine if you are sure you installed twice to the same folders.

  19. Hi, to move multiple items to another room or location, simply "drag" them to the target location. Or use the MOVE / COPY button you see on the toolbar.
  20. === QUESTION I purchased Home Manage some time ago, but am getting around to inputting a lot of items and attachments (e.g. PDF files). Would you please tell me how this data file works? Meaning, are all items, images, and attachments located and saved in one file? === ANSWER All text data is stored in the ASSETS.MDB file. You can see where its located by selecting FILE > GOTO DATA FOLDER from the main menu. The images are stored in individual .JPG files. You can see what folder by selecting FILE > GOTO IMAGES FOLDER. Attachments... we simply store a pathname to the attachment in the data file. Storing the attachments in the data file would cause problems. Also, once I add an image can I then delete the original image off my computer and only have the image saved within the data file of the program? === ANSWER yes, as we create a new .jpg image file in the IMAGES folder. Thank you for helping me understand this, and anything else I should know about this file.
