According to your reply by private email the backup crash was fixed with the latest build. Yes, the UK version is updated later than the USA Edition as we have about 200 USA customers for each UK customer. LIke I said previously that was about the same ratio years ago when we spent many weeks updating the UK database.

Hi, it is used if you have an asset that has been depreciated a certain amount prior to a depreciation schedule being started for the asset in AssetManage. For example, perhaps the asset is not newly purchased and was depreciated using a different method for a couple years. You can then enter the prior depreciation amount and then start depreciating the asset using the defined AssetManage depreciation inputs.

Ok, this is a good idea, we will definitely include for the next update. We have started work on the 2015 edition.. any feature requests are welcome.

Have had a couple customers with the problem below. The solution was confirmed to solve the problem. Hi, to deactivate the program on a machine select TOOLS > LICENSING > DEACTIVATE license from the main menu. Yes you should deactivate before putting in the new hard-drive. StampManage will work on Windows 7 64 bit. We have another week or so and will then roll out the next round of free updates.

Please advise on the data transfer and then I can order. ==== ANSWER Hi, you should be able to install 2015 on the new computer, then use the FILE > RESTORE command to retrieve your backup. You can try it with the demo version on your new machine to verify it works. Regarding ordering a CD. You can always download the program from our web-site, there is no time limit. So it is not necessary to have a CD but some people prefer having a CD and that is fine.

Hi, right now there is only 1 want list allowed. We will look at adding the ability to create additional want lists, but it could get tricky as the want list would probably have to be associated with a collection. The reason is the program will remove a stamp from a want list if it is entered into inventory. This would get complicated with multiple want lists.

Hi, we were going to add 2 new fields to the variety database, width & height in MMs. We were not able to add it to the 2015 version but will add it in the next 2-3 months for a free update. This info would be entered for the stamp database, you wanted these fields for when you enter you stamp inventory into the program? I suppose we should make the User field names changeable, another change we have been meaning to do.

There are many different versions of MySQL and it can be a bit tricky., There is a section in the manual that should detail how to setup the ODBC connection, you can access it by selecting HELP > USER MANUAL from the main menu. It is also in PDF format where you install the program (usually \\PROGRAM FILES\ASSETMANAGE ENTERPRISE)

Yes, that is basically saying that we can't show the status if you have over 1500 items in the list. The reason for this is constantly updating the status bar for a large list results in the program being really sluggish. Believe me you would find it very annoying. We are loooking at speeding this up for large lists but as of now we put in that limit.

Hi, thanks for the solution. If you can get us your STAMPDATA.MDB file we can merge these changes into the master database. If you have purchased the software you can do an internet backup and email us when that is done. Or ZIP and email the STAMPDATA.MDB file, thanks in advance.
