I originally bought the 2022 USA version.  In May I was billed and paid for 1 year extended support ($19.95).  I think that gives me the right to download and upgrade to the 2023 USA version.  However when I download the 2023 USA version I do not get any activation code for the 2023 version.  I tried entering the 2022 activation code but that didn't work.  I'm sure I did something wrong so can you help with my issue and give me the proper steps to upgrade?

Where is the database file located for default install? Is there an easy way to update the entire database with FMV prices from numismedia or another source?

Here's another question, or example:  One year I installed CoinManage on my main-use computer and I also installed it on may alternate computer.  My alternate computer crashed and I was not able to uninstall it on that computer, and also my main computer is different also.  The questions is: will I ever have the ability to again run CM on both my main and new alternate computers without having any erros that the program resides on a computer that has failed in the past but wasn't released?  Contact me if you do not understand my question.  Thanks. 

I am new to CoinManage Deluxe 2023 (as of today). I am attempting to add 2023 Austrian Philharmonic 1.5 Euro coins. I have read the help file, but I do not see the Add Type button in my display. How do I add a new type?

I noticed that when you add new source of purchased item for your Inventory, the database keeps the previous name and grows, which is a great feature.
I would like to see the same feature with the name of PRINTERS of Paper Note Bills (such a Thomas De La Rue-TDLR), so we do not have to keep typing the same name
over and over when adding a new bill into the Database Manager.

I currently have the 2020 version of the Coin Manage Software.  I purchased the 2023 version.  The first step says to backup database, but I do not have that as an option.  
Why doesn't it show up?  How do I do a backup so I can proceed to upgrade to the latest version of the software?

Seems as though an update came out already. I applied the update and still the same problem persisted 🙃. As a work around I am leveraging the Quantities Owned report.
I am exporting to Text CSV with the following saved settings:
Character Set: UTF-8 Create endless pages CHECKED Separator: Tab Framing: None Header and footer lines: Ignore Ignore group lines: CHECKED Side Note: I gotta add that I love the massive list of supported export formats
 And then for the last step I run a simple PowerShell script to convert the Tab Delimited file to Excel format

While exporting content in Tab Delimited format I found a couple of stamps that had tabs at the end of the description field, which of course threw off the columns for the Quantities Owned report when exporting. I was able to quickly identify 2. but alas i only wrote down the second one. Romanian Scott# 5463
Was wondering if any Stamp Variety or Stamp Text updates could be trimmed of leading or trailing white space (spaces and/or tabs) 
Separate question: Are Tabs supported in any/all fields?

Hi, are you selecting this report by right mouse clicking in the StampManage Catalog list view (see screenshot).  If so, we have fixed the bug for StampManage Deluxe 2023 update coming out in a couple days.

 

After  installing the August CM23 update, when  I attempt to open the program a form appears withe heading ,"Thank you for purchasing Coin Manage 2023."Toward the bottom is a button labeled, "Activate Purchased Activation Code."  Upon being clicked, a second form appears, with the heading, "Activation Was Successful."  Upon clicking the "Finish" button, the form closes and nothing further happens.

I was attempting to use the 'Stamps I Don't Own' report but i am seeing stamps i own show up in the report, any guidance for troubleshooting this?

tried multiple ways to embed the photo from my google photos or even my google drive but no luck. Examples of the issue are accessible from either link.

I just purchased Home Manage 2024 and installed and listed new rooms to add inventory items too. But when I started adding items I got a message with a big Red X that said "Encountered an improper argument".  It also locks up the program and I can't close it without going to Task Manager and ending it that way. Please help if you can. I am in the process of estate planning and need this program to work. I purchased the Home Manage 2024 with 1 year of support and access to 2 more computers.

got 2023 and don't see 2021 & 2023 rolls and bags for innovation coins.

I uploaded to 2023 version and when I try to attach a file the program crashes. I tried attaching it in the way the instructional video demonstrated but every time it crashes.
I see the file when I call up "go to the attachment folder"  so I know its there.
The only way I can attach a file is by giving the direct path, ex.(file://database/Datafiles/HomeManage/AssetAttachments/test1.pdf).
Any Ideas on how to correct this?

Hi, yes we wil have it within the next week or 2 for 2023 coinmanage customers. It will be in an update that will also include other improvements.

Will there be 2023 Morgan / Peace Dollar Uncirculated/Proof added to the DB? If so, how/when?

Looks like the "Morgan and Peace Dollars"  section was removed? I dont see it in my Deluxe 2023 version. Trying to add the new 2023 Morgan/Peace Dollars...
 
edit./..I see it now, but no 2023 year..

I decided to add user-defined formats to try to standardize them some.  Because I was hoping that they would end up at the bottom of the form, I started them with UD (for user-defined), a period, and then the description.  While I can edit my user-defined formats, I cannot do so with the default ones (see screen shot, the ones circled in green without UD. at the beginning).  I would like to remove them from the format list entirely.  Anyone know how I can go about doing that?
If there is not a way, would that be a possible enhancement?

Used Microsoft Access to open the Assets.mdb database; go to the Assets table, go to the PresentLocation column (next to 'Amount Paid' column), Sort the PresentLocation, A-Z, scroll down to the entries of the ones you want to modify.
Modify one entry and copy it to the others, save the database.
As always, make a backup of the database before any modifications.
Hope this helps anyone else in the same boat.

I have several items that are assigned to specific entries; ie Assigned To: House1 , Assigned To: House2
and I would like to change the entry from House1 to HouseX, is there an easy way to do this?
I believe the database is an Access db, I'm fine if i can do this in Access? not sure if the tables are open for modification?
I prefer to do this in the gui but i don't want to go through hundreds of items to do the long method of changing each item.

I had to delete the old version and then installed the purchased HomeManage 2024. I now can't open it as I get a error of "Could not lock file (3050). Please advise.

There is a comments field on the Additional Info tab you can use.

I have a coin that has been graded PL-67 "Heavy Cameo". Is there a place within the records where I can state not just the grade (I know how to do that) but also the reason for the grade "Heavy Cameo"?

Hi, if you go to www.amazon.ca and search for 622356559362  you will get that beach towel so it seems to be a problem with amazon.ca.
the barcodelookup appears to be better for canadian users as it is based in Canada and maybe they are getting better data for canadian products.  
We will look at adding barcodelookup.com back as an option,  its a good idea.
