  1. === QUESTION Does the software support all the revenue stamps i.e Postal Savings, Postage-Fractional Currancy, Etc.? === ANSWER The USA stamp database have extensive listings for USA Revenue stamps (see attached screenshots). Fractional Currency? is that Encased Postage Stamps? We have those listed I believe in our CurrencyManage software, will look at moving the data to StampManage this year
  2. === QUESTION I will be purchasing one of your software shortly and have a few questions. I am mainly a collector of Canadian stamps, but will purchase the odd stamp from other countries. Is there any difference between the Canadian content covered by the Deluxe version and that of the Canadian only version? Are there any other differences in versions (i.e.: can the Canadian version create custom pages?). I guess my decision will be based on content mainly, are all the Canadian stamps covered in the deluxe version as detailed as that of the Canadian only version. Thank you for you assistance. === ANSWER There is no difference whatsoever in the Canada (& Provinces) stamp database and the canadian database in the Deluxe version, same varieties, images and values. This also applies to the USA only version
  3. Recent question from a customer regarding Printing Labels === QUESTION I have a ZEBRA LP2722 barcode printer. Will the AssetManage software support printing barcodes on this printer? === ANSWER Yes, you can print labels on any type of barcode printer, you would need to know the label measurements such as the x, y offsets, width, height, etc To set this info: 1/ Select REPORTING > EDIT LABELS 2/ Choose the label template you wish to use for printing 3/ Click on the PROJECT tab in the report designer and select the LAYOUT REGIONS button 4/ Change the parameters in the LAYOUT section After making changes it is probably a good idea to save the label template under a new filename You can then print out the labels by selecting OUTPUT LABELS USING... from any popup menu
  4. === QUESTION I have CoinManage 2015 installed on my laptop and desktop. Is there a way to configure CoinManage to use the same database no matter which machine I'm on? While I realize that both version won't be able to run at the same time, it would still be easier than copying the DB from machine to machine all the time. If you have a way to do this, I'd be interested in trying it. === ANSWER Yes you can share the database on your local home or business network. What you need to do is set the DATABASE DIRECTORY on your network where all users have READ/WRITE access to that folder. They will be able to use the program at the same time with the same database file. The only limitation is they would not be able to edit the same coin record at the same time. The Database directory can be set during install of the program or later changed in the Preferences (TOOLS > PREFERENCES)
  5. Got your data file John. thanks.

  7. === QUESTION I am using the Stamp Manage 2015 program at the present time. My PC is using Windows 7. If I upgrade my Windows 7 to Windows 10 will I have any problems with the Stamp Manage program. === ANSWER We have a free update coming out in July that will incorporate a couple minor changes needed for Windows 10.
  8. === QUESTION I notice your grading prices seem about double what the blue book lists. For example - A Lincoln 1909-S graded G-4 in the blue book shows about $50 and your software shows $100. Why so? === ANSWER I believe the Blue book is for wholesale prices. In other words, for the prices dealers would pay for a coin. This is usually around half of the coin's catalog value.
  9. sorry I am on the road for a couple days and the USB internet stick I'm using is not working out too well. I emailed you instructions on emailing the data file. it is either a corrupt data file or something changed in your environment.
  10. hi, that error means the disk is bad, or in the case of a download that that download was corrupted. Can you try downloading StampManage Deluxe from this link
  11. Hi, we will take a look at this, we have a major new build coming in a few weeks that includes caching that should speed up the program quite a bit. Will make sure this is fixed as well.
  12. thanks for your comments. You say you have the 2009 version? We recently fixed a problem with adding images but it is not feasible to update all previous versions. email us at sales @ libertystreet.com if you want to upgrade to a newer version at a big discount.
  13. === QUESTION Let's see if we can get the software working as described in your manual on page 43, paragraph 4.3, CREATING NEW REPORTS. It seems like a simple straightforward process. I selected Reports > Create Collection Reports. The New Collection Report dialog box on page 44 appeared. I selected Landscape for Paper Orientation. I selected UNITED STATES for Title. There is no explanation for Save As Report. I entered STAMPSSORTEDEBYSCOTTNUMBER. I clicked on Show Totals Summary. I entered SCOTT NUMBER for Sort By: I skipped Group By: I then selected the fields to be included in the report. I then clicked on Create Report and Design and the Layout Preview dialog box appeared. The title of the report was OK, but fields selected were incorrect and the only stamp listed was Scott 73 which I had not yet entered into my inventory. If I close this dialog box I go back to the New Collection Report dialog box. If I then click on Create Report and Close the dialog box disappears. There are no instructions as to how to edit the report, or to find it, if it has been created. === ANSWER Save as report is the filename that will be used to save the report. So when you later select FILE > GOTO REPORTS FOLDER you will see a new report file with that name and the extension .lst You can run the report you created by selecting OUTPUT REPORT USING... then select the report that you created previously. You can edit the report as well by selecting REPORTING > EDIT REPORT... and select the file The SCOTT #73 is the example stamp that you will see when you install the demo, you can go ahead and delete that stamp.
  14. I think you may be confusing the list of stamps in your inventory versus the stamp varieties in the stamp database, the Canada demo ships with 1 sample entry. When you click on the ADD STAMP dialog do you see Canada and all Canada varieties in that section?
  15. Hi, the SQL file is a generic SQL file that was exported from an SQL Server database. You should run the SQL file as a query to generate the database in MySQL Regarding the settings: 1/ Should be UTF-8 2/ Partial import? The entire SQL file should be run. 3/ MYSQL40 should be ok The errors you are getting happen when there is a mismatch between the schema the client is expecting and that of the database that was created. Did you download the program around May 31 or earlier? As we put up a major new build around that time.
  16. So you need a report that would show totals for quantity 1, even if you have more than 1 of that variety in inventory? We don't currently have such a report, but we will look at doing it for an upcoming update. It may be a bit tricky, will take a look. Any other ideas for reports, please feel free to post here. We go over comments in the forums when updating the software with bug fixes, new reports, features, etc..
  17. Hi, we updated the CoinManage USA 2015 with many new 2015 issues a couple weeks back. Please select HELP > CHECK FOR UPDATES to download the update. If you are using the CoinManage Deluxe we will have the update for that in the next 2-3 days.
  18. thanks for the report, the problem is that the ' character is a reserved character in a Microsoft data file, we are looking at all your reports for the the new update to HomeManage we will release in about a week.
  19. I think those errors may have something to do with IE11. Have never seen anything like that. Will check it out.
  20. Thanks for the detailed report. We will look at this on the weekend and assuming we can duplicate,,, include a fix for the mentioned free update.
  21. You should be able to edit the item, then on the 2nd page where the topics are just change the name manually or delete the text in the tag field to remove it.
  22. Ok, we will fix this for the upcoming free update of HomeManage that will be ready in about a week to 10 days.
  23. Hi, as in the SCOTT catalog, the scott numbers for a country must be unique. You cannot create a sub-category under a country that has scott numbers the same as the parent country. We went through the SCOTT catalogs for the 2015 version and added every country/stamp issuing entry into our database. Is "Kathiri State of Seiyun" listed in the SCOTT catalogs under the letter K or along with Aden? Will take a look tommorrow.
  24. when you say "entry in the Stamp Manage Catalog" does that mean a stamp you have entered into inventory? The details of the stamp would not show if it had been deleted from the master database.
  25. Hi, you should be able to just type the new denomination into the edit window within the CoinManage Database Editor. Check out for an example where we type in "1 pice" as a new denomination.
