  1. I think I have said this previously. We are constantly making changes and improvements to the database. You are welcome to do some sort of difference analysis from a data file dated a year ago and the current one to see the thousands of improvements. I'm puzzled why you would continue to use the product if you do not like it. Why not switch to a competitor's product? they even have the ability to import StampManage database files last time I checked.

    StampManage has a location field. You can also record where the stamp is located in a stamp album.

  7. Hi, did you use the SUBMIT CHANGES menu command to upload the missing images? If so, we will be downloading and looking at them in the coming weeks.
  8. there should be a field for plate number on the additional info tab. Regarding Zippy. would it be possible to add a field that shows if it is a Zippy stamp, a YES / No boolean field? Can you see any problems with that? thanks.
  9. Yes that's correct, in the collection view you only see coin types if you have at least one of that type in your inventory.
  10. Hi, we match the images with the coin. they belong to using the ID shown in the filename. If we just stored the file name it would be a bit more complicated as we would have to keep track of which file is in which order (1st image, 2nd image, etc..). and may make transferring back files more complicated.
  11. can you tell me the text or post a screenshot of the error message? Is it: Runtime error 3043: Disk or Network error.?
  12. That sounds like the 2022 value table was not imported correctly. Are you able to select items from the main menu? If so, select: FILE > UPDATE DATA FILE from the main menu the EXIT and restart the program. Does the problem continue?
  13. Hi, have you updated to the latest version? this problem should be fixed. How to manually update apps on your Mac Open the App Store. In the sidebar, click Updates. Click Update next to an app to update only that app, or click Update All.

  15. HI, if you are missing coins from the CoinManage database you should be able to restore them by selecting: FILE > UPDATE DATA FILE from the main menu. Then EXIT and restart the program.
  16. Hi, at the bottom of the PREFERENCES (TOOLS > PREFERENCES from the main menu). You can choose to not show sub-varieties which should all those first strike releases. When checked, you should not see these sub-varieites in the ADD COIN dialog.
  17. Hi, we have to approve posts written by "guests" sorry for the delay. Otherwise the forum would be overrun by SPAM. The stamp database is not complete for all countries, so you will see countries that are current up until 2016. We are trying to keep more countries up to date as the database is now better with all the older issues.
  18. Hi, the way the database works the value in SCOTT number cannot be NULL. So you would need to put something in that field, maybe a number with some sort of prefix that works for you.
  19. Hi, does the crash happen as soon as you click on the IMAGES tab? if so, try going to TOOLS > PREFERENCES and UNCHECK the "Use Web Cam" checkbox.
  20. to sync data and images between 2 computers, you can set a shared network folder for the data file & images folders. if that is not possible, you could do an internet backup on 1 computer then do an internet restore on the 2nd computer. The problem with this is only 1 user can work on the database at a time.

  23. Hi, our values database covers values on the 0-70 Sheldon coin grading scale. It does not have values for BU except in the case of UK coins which do not use that scale very often.

    Hi, the program uses the windows user name of the person who entered the data. The data could be modified in the ASSETS.MDB data file but not currently in the user interface. It's not a big deal to make it so a user can change this info so we will add it to the list for the 2023 version.
  25. do you see windows coming up saying that the program is importing data? If so, after it loads, can you select: TOOLS > PREFERENCES from the main menu. Is the DATA FOLDER set to the IMPORT folder by any chance?
